So, here he is. After much nervous painting, I got the head done. I'm happy with it. It's not the best, but it's good enough for me.

Head: repainted Dragon Robert E. Lee (eyes are decals I made)
Body: random DID body from TA
Outfit: Sideshow Captain Antilles (repainted the rank insignia red per ANH)

Thanks, Spud. I'm going to take some more pics of him later with my Rebel Honor Guard along with some other pics of my collection. I'm waiting until I get my Veers done (3D printed the belt buckle as I type this) and my Endor Leia.

I always thought there were two characters from ANH that have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to toys: General Dodonna and Red Leader. I mean, Dodonna was in charge of the Battle of Yavin. It was HIS plan. As for Red Leader, he fearlessly led his guys into almost certain doom, was the only person other than Luke to manage to get to the target, and sacrificed himself rather than put his men in danger.

Both were inspiring leaders. Just seems to me they deserve better when it comes to toys
(and yes, Red Leader is on my "to do" list )
