Ok, here’s the deal. I am a teacher in CA and the state’s budget is roughly $42 billion in the red causing major cuts to education. So, until the state gets a budget and I have a contract in hand, I have to be very selective on what I spend any extra money on. My district alone has cut all teacher buy-back days through April and has frozen my tutoring and AR coach pay; this has taken about $300 out of my monthly paycheck.
Point is that I have to choose whether to keep paying for the laptop or cancel the few Bowen/Sideshow items I have remaining through June.
This was originally bought in August 2008 for close to $1700 when I let a good friend talk me into it so that I could play high-end EQ and Vanguard with him. It is still under full warranty and is NOT a refurb. The battery in the laptop was replaced and the laptop comes with a Targus double fan cooling pad. I am trying to avoid putting this on eBay; will put it on here and Craigslist for a week and then will probably toss it on eBay. I have feedback on these boards and my eBay user id is USJRC77.
This thing is a gaming/video BEAST and is one of the fastest laptops on the market (I was able to run WoW, EQ, and Vanguard all at highest setting without lag even in cities or raids). I will be doing a reboot, so you will have to reinstall the games and drivers; you are more than welcome to the game discs if you want them since I haven’t played online games in about two months.
I originally paid right at $1700 for it. Asking $1100 SHIPPED (continental US) but I am open to offers, I just want to pay it off. Includes a free Targus double fan cooling pad. Will take money orders, pick up, or Paypal.com (4% extra)
