So how is everyone? I’m still alive.. barely. Feelsbadman what’s everyone’s instagrams? First time I’ve logged into this in SEVERAL years

So a couple months ago some of the co-founders of McFarlane Toys got ahold of me looking for some reference pics for a keepsake book they were working on for themselves. Long story short, one thing led to another and they ended up asking me if I’d be interested in designing and laying out the book for them. Which I was more than happy to do! It was a true dream project for me and working with the guys was a hoot. They are printing a very small amount of these for themselves and a few family members as keepsakes, but have decided to offer the remaining bit from the print run to the public to help pay for the printing costs. If you want one, order now. They start shipping around August 1. Only available direct from Asylum. Feel free to share the link with anyone who might be interested in a copy before they sell out.

For those of you that know me from around here, you know how cool this is for me.

So I got a chance to hit Galaxy's Edge last week in Disneyland. Great stuff! I enjoyed it so much Monday that I went back on Friday. The Smuggler's Run ride is so fun and the whole area is really cool. The cantina was fun as well.

How crazy busy was it? We keep hearing Disneyland is a slow this summer but wondered if that the whole park or just everything that’s not Galaxys edge? I decided I would wait until they are done with second ride and slow season.

It wasn’t too bad. We got into the park about 15 minutes after opening and went straight to the ride. I think we waited 40 minutes for it since they don’t currently offer fast pass for it. The area is pretty big, so it didn’t feel too crowded like other areas of Disneyland. The park overall was busy, but we were able to ride quite a few rides using fast pass and waiting in standby lines.

Any cool Yoda related stuff, part of Galaxy's Edge, or for sale in the store?

Yep, I saw that and it looks awesome. I hear they have 50% off sales on the Criterion blu-rays every year, so I'm going to wait until then to pick this set up. I already have these on either blu-ray or dvd. I'm going to have to hold onto those too. It doesn't look like they include the English editions of the films and I want to have both.

I hadn’t noticed they were dropping the English versions. I’d better hang onto my original releases, too. And you definitely want this during the 50% off sale.
