I'm thinking of taking a crack at painting one of my statues but I'm planning on practicing a bit on something cheap that I can find. One question I have is, do I need an airbrush to do this or can I just use a paint brush set of some kind? Another question would be what type of paints work best for polystone statues? This would be for a 1:6 statue.

If there is a thread that covers these topics, can someone point it out to me? Thanks

There a a few painting threads, use the search feature to find them. I use Liquitex acrylic thinned with the airbrush medium. An airbrush helps a lot but is not essential. Some very nice work can be done by hand with a brush.
