I hate to be a wet blanket but I just don't like the faux bronze effect on this piece. I like it better on simpler pieces. A figure statue, for example. I just think that SS has over-done the faux bronze effect and the novelty is lost with me.

I see your point and funnily enough agree with it to a certain degree...I have both the painted and FB version of this piece and depending on my mood prefer the painted (I never dislike either BTW!) but I agree that SS have overdone the FB craze, which as you say means it has lost its novelty...thankfully not for me as this is the only FB piece that I own!
