Honestly, I don't get it. Lol. It's really overpriced for what you get imo.

Tell me how long it takes to build & paint the PG(haven’t seen but 1 so far), then make it solid diecast & throw in a mirror base. People act like the $400 PG doesn’t take an extraordinary amount of labor to build & even greater care not to break anything.

I didn’t say squat about the PG, not once. And if you have to have the PG built and then professionally painted then imo that would be way too much for it as well.
So again, I will say that IMO this Falcon is WAY overpriced for what you get.

Sorry, speculation on my part as plenty of others come in trying to make that comparison. That’s fine being your opinion, IMO if the 5 inch pewter Falcon is $550 then this one was a steal lol.

I own it - and I'm with you.

When eFX announced this back in 2009 it was supposed to be a $299 sell. Obviously that was a while ago, so it is expected that it will cost more - but not double! Most manufacturing costs have come down in recent years - hell, look at their PCR helmets, they virtually haven't changed price in 5 years.

At $399, this would have been a knockout. At $449, acceptable. But at $599, it's a complete rip-off for what you get.

This looks pretty small. It's about 12 inches long?

I don’t understand the comparison between the two, but that’s a whole other bag of crap. Lol

If you read back originally I defended this piece BECAUSE not everyone can build/paint the PG ;).

Yes this! I said this exact same thing a while ago and a bunch of pages back.
This was announced BY EFX that it was going to be an affordable (at the time $299) way for people to have a nice Falcon. But that’s not what happened, instead it was normal EFX BS. Take YEARS to produce the product, make it sub par to the original showing and charge way more than promised.
And let’s not forget that the chrome version will be here for comic con for 1K!!! Lol

I don't even want to think how much would cost a studio scale like Slave I, TIE Interceptor or AT-ST if released today by EFX, if this tiny Falcon costs $600. I guess we'll never know though LOL

Well if they announced one of them this year at $1200 it wouldn’t matter to me because more than likely my grandkids won’t give a damn about my preorders when I’m dead. Lol

Finally Got mine throu EFX on Saturday... What a long wait...

Looks real nice to me that’s a quality item Clark. I Have my EFX and MR in there original boxes in the garage rafters :impatient:
One day I’ll remodel the Star Wars room and display. But until thenThanks for the pictures.

Every other one of these I’ve seen were mirrored, there has to be a protective film on that base.
I actually like the mirror, helps to see the bottom hull.

One other thing that disappoints at this price point is the fact that it’s battery powered, small but irritating detail.
