Hello,

I practice the old fencing in a team of historical reconstitution.
One day, I found a French Comic book named 'The Scorpion'

https://www.e-novateur.org/images/scorpion1.jpg

In this comic-book, we can see a representation of a member of the Order of Knights Hospitaler (a Templar) in the XVIII century
> It's a fiction character

I liked the style of the character and I decided to realise the costume in 1/1 for me (for the shows with my friends) and in 1/6 for a 12-inch Figure.
> My mother realised the costume in 1/1
> I realised the costume in 1/6

To realise the custom, I use :
- A 12-inch George Lazenby figure (body)
- A 12-inch Spike figure (great cross with dagger)
- A 12-inch Master figure (trousers, boots, candlestick )
- A 12-inch Buffy Prohecy Girl figure (crossbow, little cross with chain)
- A 12-inch Anna Valerious figure (dagger, little buckles)
- A 12-inch Jack Sparrow (buckle of belt)
- A 12-inch Zorro figure (sword)
- My hands

The custom :

Great work! Very appreciated, believe me.

The 12'' Zorro Figure is really a toy for very young child (US$18) .... but it's very difficult to find a sword from the XVIII century.
That was the best solution for me.

Those robes are beautiful! I don't know if you made them or what, but that fabric is amazing at 1:6 scale--it hangs wonderfully, and the drape is superb--that hood looks great, while most at this scale look really wonky and fake. Good job!

Wow! Very cool man.

I was thinking the same thing as Captain Faramir, awesome awesome robe!!

Love your custom knight!
Just one quick observation, if I'm not mistaken, the Templars were a different order from the Hospitallers, although once the Templars were disbanded, the Hospitallers were given some of the Templars castles and domains.

Very imaginative use of kit bashing. The Robe is especially impressive as si the leather work.
Did you use a pattern of the cloak or just wing it?

Yes, probably, but I'm french and I don't very good english.
> I searched simple words to explain the idea of the character.
>> Sorry for the mistake.

I just want you to know that I think this guy ROCKS! :rock
Seriously! Thanks for doing some original work on one of these. Amazing stuff to see. Love that bow too.
Working as I can on some Vikings that would have given your boy a tough time....had they been in the same era...:lol But close!
Just keep on rocking these. Love this stuff!
