Figures are in the car. Took it out of ours, evenly. To make up for his full end. Because I want to pay off and get rid of this mother****er right now.

:lol

Haha! Awesome man. That's some good stuff right there.

No problem, buddy. :duff Waingro is so cool...despite dying in a bathrobe. :lol

Happy to see other HEAT/Mann fans on here. Reppin' in spirit, slick.

One of the things that make this movie so great is that even peripheral characters are pretty interesting. If you really think about it, you could argue Waingro is the central character in the movie; his act during the truck takedown sets off the events the lead to every other part of the film. Pretty great stuff.

And yes, I would absolutely love to have a Waingro, complete with his street clothes, tattoos, his gear from the truck scene, and of course, his bathrobe. Alternate head would have the wide-eyed bullet-hole face.

I'm big enough a fan that I would (sadly?) buy every character they would make in 1/6. I'm actually considering getting the CK Hanna figure.

I remember seeing DeNiro and Haysbert when they came to the area to shoot movies years ago. Haysbert even acknowledged me! :panic:

Is that a Cult King Vincent Hanna? I'm not familiar. Will it come with a "Cause she's got a great ass" headsculpt? :lol

Nonono, anything CK is strictly customs section! I'll PM you.

Thanks, man. :duff

Inigou's done a perfect Ace Rothstein from Casino, but the hair's different and there's no beard. With some modding, that could work ok.

Ace Rothstein? (Shoulders slump) Yet another figure of a kickass character I'll never own. :lol

That's awesome about Haysbert. I've been a fan of that guy since his work in the classic masterpiece, Navy SEALs.

And yeah, Cult King is making Neil and Vincent. They have great sculpts, though I prefer this one of Neil more. The Vincent isn't bad though, especially with the sunglasses on. It's just a shame they are so expensive, with such limited accessories, and I personally don't find the tailoring of their suits to be anything special.

Not sure if you guys know, but the "Great Ass" response was totally off the cuff, and the reactions of the other coppers were genuine as nobody knew Pacino was going to say that LOL. Also read that according to Mann, Hanna had a barely under control cocaine problem, which makes me appreciate the character and his quirks that much more.

Yeah I had an argument with an old colleague years back because he was adamant that Pacino nearly ruined the movie because he always SHOUTS!!! (he attributed this to Pacino picking up this habit since he played Tony Montana) and that is when I played my trump card and hit him with the bit you mentioned which I have highlighted. I'm also sure that Mann said he was also a near alcoholic although I would need to check that bit out again.

Love this scene also -

:rotfl

That scene is one of my favorites too. I love the part when he says "is he here?" and looks under the table clowning the guy. I could talk about this flick all day.

Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing! :)

You can go back way further than Scarface and say the seeds of Pacino's 'shouty shtick' were first sown when he played Sonny in Dog Day Afternoon.

When I visit someone's house and they ask me if I want something to drink then I say this with the exact same gesture..

and they ask me to come back another time.
