Not exactly. Its just ending its run. Out of show ideas, and Laurie wanted out. Kinda like 24 ended ... the show has just run-its-course.
Not exactly. House was getting cancelled regardless. There's a difference. To me anyways. If a show is a hit and has huge ratings and THEN the people behind it decide to end it, that's one thing. But if a show is doing poorly in the ratings and is on the verge of getting axed and THEN the people behind it decide to end it, to assure closer, that's entirely different.
It's like the difference between a perfectly healthy person dying in a car crash and a person with only months to live from illness dying in a car crash. The former is tragic. The latter (while still tragic) was inevitable.
House being cancelled was inevitable.
