Have a couple of Detolfs and I've always despised putting figures on the bottom shelf cuz it's so low to the ground and unappealing.

I've seen people use some drawers/cabinets/risers to raise the Detolf off the ground, and was just wondering if any of you guys have done this and can help me out.

EDIT: These cabinets from Ikea don't seem too bad... just wondering if they can tolerate the weight of the Detolfs being placed on top of them

Malm will work. HHS first one was too narrow. You can also go with akurum kitchen upper cabinet and low cost door like harlig. Then panel the outside to make it look nicer. See first link in my sig.

I'm doing my right now with the expedit. Looks awesome!!!
And it can handle the weight.

Me personally I use the 'Lack' tv bench. 3 detolfs fit side by side on it perfectly. They are raised off the floor so that the top shelf is just above eye level. The bottom shelf is much more appealing off the ground. Plus I store all the extra hands n stuff in the space underneath. check it out

Yeah, what Pixel said... there's actually a picture in the other thread about raising Detolfs that shows a Lack TV Unit with 3 Detolfs bowing really badly in the middle.

I suggest you reinforce it if you already haven't

Yes, good advice - if the lack is properly reinforced in the middle, with a support touching the floor and its underside, preferably from front to back, then it shouldn't be an issue.
