I'll be honest now , just a few months ago I was seriously considering quitting the Freaks forum due to the attitude of some of its members . There was a really negative feel to many threads , people spewing bile and vitriol over so called " inaccuracies" and "faults" of certain figures being released by , in particular , Hot Toys and Sideshow , instead of enjoying them for what they are . Then my focus changed . Due to financial reasons , I decided to curtail my spending for a few months to get my finances in order . Out went the latest H.T releases and in came the custom bashes I'd always had on the back burner but never quite got round to doing . ( Bear with me , I know I'm rambling on a bit !) Which brings me here , the dark, dingy corner of the boards reserved for the Star Wars customizers. What a difference , members don't compete to be the "biggest Star Wars fan" , they are encouraging to newbies , positive and constructive of other members work , good humoured and above all willing to "put their money where their mouth is" and get stuck in and "have a go". This results in the fantastic work on display in threads such as this one ( love the bounty hunters , by the way Boba!) and the reason why I check into this forum EVERY day to see what people are up to . THIS is what forums were created for . Keep it up , you've restored my faith , ya bunch'a freaks!!
I can't really afford much either, but I'm still just all over the place...
