Well, I just picked up Anakin Skywalkers 1:1 scale lightsaber from Adam at DSC and I have to say that I'm really impressed with the quality of the workmanship. It is well made, looks great, and weighs around 5-6 pounds. If you like how this looks and want one of your own go to Adams site and pick one up. He has them for under retail and it is worth every penny. Here's some pics......

Hope you enjoy these images (and get one yourself!!!!)

You should read the train wreck that got him banned. It's over in the Commerce section. ****** bag was necroposting to get to post 50 (Commerce privileges).

just read it... wow what a loser. seriously, what was he expecting??? people on the forums have been here for a while and seen EVERY possible way to rip people off. i saw a couple of his other threads that were randomly brought back to life after being dormant for years... why not just post whore all the current ongoing conversations???

He basically replied to every thread in one day in order to build up his account so that he could sell something. and quickly got banned :angelsmil

Funny thing was that he was here back in May trying to sell the same thing, met resistance, got hostile and bashed the board, and was removed then too!! :lol :google

imo 500 post limit before you can touch the commerce section. :)

Wouldn't it have just been insanely easier for the guy to list his item on ebay and forgo this entire farce? Or has he been banned from there as well?

If you're not an established member of a forum board why would you even think anyone would jump at the chance to buy your item?

Agreed. Lets put it to a vote!!!! :chew:emperor:gun:whip:bunnydanc

500 post count might be a bit steep (Ive been posting for years now - maybe 5-10 times a week when Im not on business - and Ive only recently passed that).

The 6 month membership is a great idea though - especially if it included a stipulation of at least 10 posts a week! That would mean people would need to be here and involved the community for a long while and couldn't just post a bunch in one day 6 months after they made the account :lecture

i agree... or why be surprised when the people that actually post here start asking questions??? to be honest i really don't know what needs to be set for the requirements. on one hand i think a minimum post count should work, but there are members that mostly read and not post....or time of membership could work, but how long is too long??? or combine them.... 3 months and 250 posts???
