Mine finally arrived :
Impression - Overall 9/10
Headsculpt - could have used rooted hair. Spartans were forced by law to have long hair. Its one mod I plan to do (but thats just my personal taste, the face sculpt looks fine)
Body 9/10 - The torso was a bit loose, but overall, very nice muscled ACI body ( christian body, I believe). Its better than expected, and the muscles fit nicely with the shin guards and armor
Acessories - 8/10 - The corinthian helmet is a little bit too big, I had to force the face to be closer to the front, so it doesn't look so off. Sincerely - it looks better on hand, than it did on the production pictures.
The spear is 100% metal, its too heavy for the figure to handle. I had to fix it on a book behind it, so that the figure keeps its balance holding it.
The hands had trigger fingers, I had to warm them up and mold them a bit to look more natural holding the spear
The hoplon is AWESOME, perfectly sized, the paint app is great, and it covers the figure very nicely. The grip is nicely done.
Excellent figure, very historical representation of an spartan officer. If I could get another one, I'd make him a custom linothorax.
Very pleased.
. There's still plenty of time to change it!
