I have taken lots of pics..

but this one is my fav at the mo.
The light is fading fast so I am doing long exposures which are fab as they bring the light out.

Cheers chums......

Well Debs comes home from work.... I look sheepish (as usual) and I take her hand and lead her to the kitchen. Then I get THE LOOK (the what is that doing in here look)

I can can I just show u this please please!! she sighs.... I lead her to the X-wing turn the kitchen lights off.... and the X-Wings on.....

She says!!!!!!

"Thats pretty cool" OMG OMG!!!! in 3 years of model making and dollies that is the first time she said something was cool.... how happy am I!!!

Any way pics... well I have a few to go through but I will start popping a few ups!!

I have just finished the las lot of pics... so I will pop some up during this evening.

Ahh yes the LOOK, we all know the look. I am still in shock at Debs being impressed!! I have supplied my good lady with an oversized Gin and tonic (hollow legs) and as long as cook dinner whilst posting she is happy. Liam now wants me to make the wings! I say NO WAY!! I will never get this thing finished... but wings would cool... very cool....

Tell the missus (or the nurse, whoever has all the power over there) that you'll compromise. You get to finish the X-wing completely, but you promise the Falcon won't be built back any further than the chess table. Sounds fair to me.

You could build the rest of the ship in a manner that breaks down into components that screw or bolt together.. You could have fore and aft fuselage, wings, engines, and lasers. When not being played with ...ahem, on display the other parts would come apart and fit in a closet or garage.


Remember, this is how "my dad is cooler than yours" happens...
