Glad to help, the next one you make could be the Snowtrooper Commander that sits behind General Veers in the AT-AT.

Here are a couple of shots of the mask after some alterations.

I may not dirty it up. In most of the pictures I have seen the mask has been very shiny.

any ideas??? what do you think??

The mask looks like a vinyl to me, as it's sheen matches the fiberglass helmet it's attached to. Maybe paint over it and add some semi gloss clear coat?

What kind of boots are those that you used? The idea for the straps was genius. Very cool.

Thanks. They are the SSC Endor trooper boots.

I cut apart the gaithers from the Endor troope, glued them back together so they were snug and wrapped them around the boots. I then painted them white. After the paint dried, I used the masking tape strips to make boot straps. I added another coat of paint and then did the weathering.

Did you you acrylic-based paint? Most of the 1/6 boots I have are a rubbery plastic and I'm wondering if the paint will adhere to the boots and dry properly. Any problems with this?

The white paint is a flat white spray paint. I let dry for a couple of hours then applied the weathering. The weathering was done with some left over exterior trim paint from my house.

It snowed again where I am a few days ago, and I still don't have any hoth stuff... so it didn't do me much good

Oh well, I'm sure I'll have a snowtrooper or ice Han by next winter!
