Super Freak
Hey guys, This is a display that I have been working on for a while and a great thanks to Hemble for the advice.
I used 2 pieces of 12mm MDF sheets which were joined. I then covered the wall with plaster filler from the hardware store. Once dried I gave it a wash with a dark brown and then
a drybrush over with a lighter brown to give the weathered look. The sand was dusted over PVA wood glue and plaster was used to build it up along the wall and step.
The door was made out of 2 sheets of 3mm MDF with the top sheet cut out to the look that I wanted then glued together. I then spayed it black and then just
dry brushed different colours to get the look that I wanted. The door step was the underside of an old computer monitor which was spayed black and washed over
with brown. The 2 pipes were bits that I found in the plumbing section. The control panel was made from my bits bin with the security droid housing being a toothpaste lid with a
bit of wire and one of the missle tips from Hasbro's Darth Maul fighter. After doing this I can't wait to start my next one. I threw in a few figures to show the scale.
