Mikey2Bullets, TRON1968, chalkyYT - great work guys
Mikey2Bullets - I like how your Indy looks in the third pic. He's a bit too shiny though.
thanks, i know i can't seem to find a proper flat clear coat that really flattens out the skin while protecting the paint. that's actually my third attempt. the first looked like a "special kid" and on the second the paint flaked off when i tried to re assemble him.
if anyone has suggestions for this i'll do him over. i'm using folk art acrylics.
from a distance of a few feet he looks great, a bit sweaty, but great

awww, thanks for the mention! Glad it helped a little Your figures looks great!
I use a polyeurathane varnish, I think its designed for furniture maybe... or at least it has a picture of a wooden chair on the can. This harden very shiny... but the longer you leave it the harder it gets. So I do that and leave it for a few days... or if I can over a week.... (although its touch dry after a day) ...then I get some Testor's Dullcote... this doesnt quite protect as much as the other stuff (which is why I use that first) but this makes things DEAD flat... completely matt... not shiny in the slightest. This dries in a few hours. THen i use a tiny brush and some gloss varnish from a small bottle (craft store) and gloss the eyes.
Hope this helps
Sorry about the bad lighting, here are some pics of my 1/6th Indy in progress (he still needs to be weathered and the jacket has yet to be made) ... The shirt is off a bit on purpose, but the pockets do match up if it is not in "messed up" mode.

KotCS inspired Indy.
So I was throwing together an Indy on a TT last night and when I got to the feet/shoes from the original SS figure I was unable to figure out a way to get them on the TT. I would have sworn that someone at some point in this thread wrote that the Pro feet, when the ankle peg is removed, are compatible with the TT ankle. Am I crazy? I'm using the newer TT with the Tom Cruise sculpt. Is there perhaps a difference between this TT and a past version?
