So his flightsuit is the same as Jango’s, just in grey? I have to say that’s the only disappointing part to me in that they didn’t match it up with the other Mauldalorian. Especially since they’re both technically from the same Siege of Mandalore battle.

I’ll let the hardcores delf into fan theories about Maul’s military uniform logistics. I would’ve had the energy if it was a few years ago but not at this point

But I will patiently wait for the Ahsoka Mauldalorians to be parted out and upgrade his belt and flightsuit. This figure is just a background Mauldalorian anyway.

I'd assume the flightsuits are just sweaty handmedowns like the armour is .

It does look a bit basic in black.

Seems like the shoulders aren’t very poseable on this. I can barely get him to raise to almost 90 degrees for the pistol pointing shot

Most likely that’s the padding they put on most Mando figures. It can get caught up in the shoulder section.

I’ll buy that for a dollar. It’s only right there’s gotta be a big trade off when a figure gets an announcement and release 24 hours apart from each other.

Quick outa the box shot. Really nice looking figure but I’m an Obi-Wan junkie so I’m biased. The head sculpt is great. A slight step up from the ROTS version although I never thought that one was that bad in any way in hand.

At best this represents a lack of creativity, and at worst, deception and theft (please spare me whatever legalise that may exist that makes this legally permissible. It’s still lame and totally unacceptable to not even cite the guy or reach out to him).

In all seriousness, we see big companies (Disney for example) stealing fan work all the time and usually it is whoever they hired when outsourcing to create artwork being lazy and taking others work. If they had any honour they would contact the og artist but that ain't happening, they will just tell whoever photoshopped it to stop stealing fan art as it makes them look bad then call it a day.

Owning a license to produce something is not the same as having a right to lift whatever you want.
