The shoulder pieces are dumb. Look how they never work on action figures. It'd be just as impractical in real life.

I'm definitely gonna need figures of these two. Wolvie finally in a costume, and Deadpool in a redder costume with golden guns. As long as they keep giving them new hats, we'll keep buying them.

"Liefeld".....he's gonna love that.

Looks like it'll be a lot of fun. :yess:

But.......

It's just another Spider-Man No Way Home movie. If this hits big too, which is likely, the future is gonna be nothing but multiverse crossovers. That have no bearing on universe building stories with consequences. Random characters thrown together from different timelines for big box office draws. The MCU truly ended after Endgame.

The Nostalgia era has begun. Studios' mantras are about to change from "We don't owe the fans what they want" to "Give the fans what they want!!!"... :lol

Next up will be a DC/Marvel crossover since both Disney and WB need $$$ big time.

Without sleeves, it looks really damn close to how John Romita JR drew him in "Agent of SHIELD."

The multiverse stuff has been pushed for a WHILE now and its mostly fallen flat on its face, No Way Home was an exception and maybe this one will be too - but I still think a lot of these multiverse things are dying out, they will use them to mash together the best pieces/casting from different continuities and fold them into the MCU and then move on.
Also NWH gets a bad rap but it had a genuinely emotional and impactful story.
Its no Spiderverse - but thats the gold-standard.

I don't think a Marvel/DC movie is likely for a while yet - Gunn is unlikely to mix his stuff up in that kind of way for a long time given he has to rebuild an entire brand from its smouldering ruins.

This looks like such a fun ride. Can’t wait.
Forget the sleeves, I'm still seeing no mask. Like Bob Marley said, "No Mask No Buy." ERRR, "No Woman No Cry."
100% saving the mask for the movie. It'll probably appear in one scene then be gone though, but just to see it will be enough.

At this point, I'm OK with the MCU ending after Endgame and getting the occasional pearl (No Way Home, this)... The 10 year universe building the MCU managed isn't going to happen again. While not perfect, it was pretty incredible and culminated with a great penultimate and finale...

Ps. Sign me up for a fan service, DC/Marvel crossover! :)

Same here, mostly checked out of the MCU now, haven’t watched the last 4 or 5 movies except for Guardians. Just gonna tune into things I think seem cool like this.

Sleeveless HELL YEAH THANK THE MAKER!!! :yess:

WAIT!!!

WAIT!!!
NO SHOULDER ARMOR WTF!! :gah::slap:gah:

Even though my favorite is brown with no shoulder pads but THIS ISN’T the brown costume! :gah:

Although the shoulder armor looks like it could’ve been ripped off in battle.

That between the legs stab has to be one of the most brutal things I have ever seen in a CBM.

No head shot or dismemberment no matter how gory could ever compare to that.

Yeah, I've been over the MCU for a long time now. The movies were slowly diminishing in quality from one to the next, and the D+ shows are just bad. It's strayed so far from the original that it's barely recognizable anymore. Marvel Entertainment's (Pre-Disney) goal was to make movies as close to accurate to the source material as possible. That slowly changed over the years. It's only seen with the core 4 Avengers (Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk) and their individual movies before leading up to Avengers. Widow and Hawkeye were close enough as supporting characters. I still will also say/feel/believe Infinity War was the far superior movie, and Endgame began throwing it of the rails with it's time travel schtick. The 2 death knells of any meaningful story, introducing time travel and the Multiverse. Nothing that came before no longer has any weight or merit. Everything can be re-written/changed at any time to suit the current narrative.

Sadly, I think it's becoming more entertaining watching it crash and burn than being naive and hoping for it to get back on track. It's just not gonna happen at this point.

RIP MCU... (and Star Wars)

The sorry part is, this may "fix" the MCU but Feige's post-Endgame planning would probably make any ramifications from Deadpool & Wolverine meaningless over the course of the next 5 projects. The guy introduces Easter Eggs but they never get peeled and served.
