I'm afraid I re-boxed him after making the amendments (I did change the shirt in the end). He'll be unboxed again in about 10 days and will upload some pictures then.

Repainting his eyes and changing out the shirt makes ALL the difference.

Pulled the head off, put a tiny bit of blutack into the head socket and then put the head back on, that lengthens his neck just enough.

What would really finish it off is having a wire in the bottom of jacket to make it flush to his body, but I can live with it as is now.

Production pics are up

The headsculpt looks like a disaster.

What an absolute shame, my cheap custom looks better than the official figure. I'm letting that one pass me by.

The eyes definitely look off. The sculpt of them looks off, but it could also be the paint. They sort of remind of DiCaprio as Candie. They have a picture of him on the box which makes it easier to see how off they are.
I wish this was more weathered.

Pretty mediocre for the price. This looks like a $175 figure.

Dunno what's with all these B-list 1/6 figure makers charging above HT prices.

It's salvageable with a better third-party head sculpt and some weathering, which should not be necessary at this price point but that is nothing new for a Sideshow figure.

I'll keep my Iminime Cowboy at an rate... which I was going to keep regardless of how this turned out.

Is there a third party headsculpt without a neck? Or is it head AND body swap?

Works for me that Blondie. Will sell the crappy Redman.
I even have a second head with neck,, a recast of Iminime and better painted than Redmans attemp.
If I recall correctly two new companies apart from Redman are recasting the Iminime Blondie(Present toys and Snake Toys?)

You would have to change the body. The sideshow body doesn't work with a sculpt with neck.

I'm usually very easy going on sideshow figures, but the sculpt here is pretty bad. I don't believe that this is any significant step up from the Redman except for the body, which I like. As you can't use that with the Redman sculpt, the whole figure is sort of pointless for me.

Happy for others who do like it, but I'll skip this and keep my fingers crossed for the Preacher.

I think we should be critical. This figure isn't on the cheap end. It's part of a line of figures under the "Legacy" title. When you have other companies, regardless if they are legit or not, producing better sculpts. Well, you better up your game. SS has been in business for a very long time. They have improved, but nowhere near where they should be.

Very disappointing...I was hoping the production model head sculpt would improve from the prototype but it went in the opposite direction. I might let my non-refundable deposit go on this.
