They extended the mouth-to-nose distance, made the mouth/lips more human and narrowed the nose (less pig-like) I assume to make him more empathetic/human. So he literally looks more like the love-child of Nick Nolte and an Ugnaught, which was likely the idea (someone dubbed him "Ugnolte.")

His skin coloration is also more natural human-like. The slightly unnatural skin color seen in "Empire" makes those ugnaughts seem more alien and scary to me (people forget Ugnaughts were scary - sort of little imp demons laboring in hell.)

There's enormous facial variation in the Ugnaughts seen in "Empire" which is why Kuiil works as an Ugnaught design more generally though, so he "could" have been on Bespin but unseen.

Well it’s a good thing you said that in English otherwise the Ugnaughts might’ve gotten their feelings hurt. :lol

I think he’s Ugnaught enough to make OGK’s suggestion possible even if not a direct replication of an onscreen ESB Ugnaught.

Main issue would be Kuiil’s hat. Don’t have the figure yet but heard it’s sculpted on. If it is then that would require a bit of surgery and sculpting.

The project would be a bit more work than just throwing an apron on but an interesting one. Head and body will probably not last long at part out sites.

I noticed that as well lol. I wonder if he’s been reading any forum or Reddit posts and seen how hard he gets meme’d on and decided to tone it down a little.
I think I’ve done a 180 on him and gone from finding it super annoying to thinking it’s pretty hilarious. Even if it’s unintentional 🤣

Lol. I think he’s just been having more fun with it. Which when Hot Toys is releasing 3-5 figures a week and you’re trying to review every single one of them it’d be super easy for it to just become a slog. But he seems to genuinely enjoying it.
 
As if I wasn't already excited about getting this figure and Coco has to go and post such a beautiful shot and send me over the edge. Looks fantastic!
The blurrg is waiting impatiently for his arrival... :)
 
I wonder why it’s taking until March for Sideshow to ship this out.
