Anyone else think the hair almost looks more like an added on wig than rooted hair here? Still looks really good but under super zoom it almost looks like sculpting under hair sitting on top? Maybe a faster and more consistent way to have haired figures?
While the Dragon Toys Dark Ruler is questionably too big for 1/6, this is definitely too small for 1/9. Looks like a good fit for 1/12 though. Glad to see more companies attempting a Sauron.
Great comparison lineup. Hot toys prototype looks slightly more realistic and expressive to me. The lower eye lids and transition to eyeballs are better, even if some here have said the eyes are too small for Heath. Time will tell how the delivered figure will look.
Both are a great...
Thought the same thing on the price. I'd be surprised if this was anyone's centerpiece like the Batmobile could be. Guess if you want it, you pay the price.
Makes me afraid to see the price creep for their next 1/6 vehicle...
The T-Rex is up for pre-order with and without the light-up diorama. The body sculpt looks much better than the ECC to me, but without glass eyes, there just isn't the presence of Rexy. What do you guys think? Anyone pre-ordering?
Whoa, who made that 1/8? That's kinda the scale I wanted the ECC to be. Still hoping they release the same statue in a bigger scale.
But that Iron Studios diorama looks amazing too...
What do you guys think about this vs the Prime 1 Cliff Attack diorama? Are those that bought this Rex satisfied? What about those with the Iron Studios diorama?
Would love a JP Rex in the collection but definitely not looking to get multiple statues.
The crouched pose was after heavy modification to the figure. You can see what all was done to this figure on the BBICN link below. Just use translate
