I asked this a while back but it got lost among the posts, but is anyone else bothered that it doesn't look like the Prime 1 Guts has the brand on his neck? For a $1k statute, that's a pretty important detail to miss.
I can't tell for sure from the pictures, but it doesn't look like he has the brand of the sacrifice on his neck. It would be a shame to add all that detail to the base and miss one of the most important features on the actual character. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
I just opened mine last night and have to say how impressed I am with it. This thing is beautiful and built like a tank. I completely agree with everyone who thinks it looks even better with the waist extended. There is no issue with displaying it that way -- the waist firmly locks into place...
I wonder if CC was forced to come clean about this not being produced by Toynami. Toynami certainly would not appreciate the damage to its reputation caused by being wrongly associated with such a poorly produced statue.
If that is true, then congratulations on being completely sheltered from the real word. Thanks for your insightful post -- I never realized that we had the option of not buying or returning this.
I completely agree with xpl0sive. Thanks again El Mule for being a constant source of reason. Bashing the Hot Toys endo on its sculpt served no purpose but to lead this discussion into completely irrelevant territory (which too many on this forum were more than happy to venture into) while...
Thanks dude, that's awesome! I've got three pieces on order from the Arkham line (Noel, Deathstroke, and Harley), so your pics and video have done a great deal to put to rest any doubts (not that I had any) about Prime 1 delivering. Not to start a flame war or anything, but I was debating...
So, those who have Arkham Knight Batman in hand, what are your thoughts? Although I chose Noel over the AK version, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it because it's currently the best indicator of the quality we are likely to receive on these pieces. The pictures I've seen so far look amazing...
I totally agree -- the Noel version has an intensity that sets it apart from the other batman statutes. It was an easy choice for me, especially because I plan on pairing it with Deathstroke. Also, from the teasers, it looks like the Miller bats will have a base that will match well with both...
Re: Prime 1 Studio - Jim Lee Batman
Bolland's Joker is one of my favorites as well. I'd love to get the SSC PF, but I can't justify paying the outrageous prices people are asking for it.
