Hi, I feel a little bit "lost" with Darth Vader... I have Leia and Luke then, wich one (of all Darth Vader options) is the best??? Or maybe should I wait for 1/6 version of Return Of The Jedi??? It should come with FACE sculpt... Thanks.

Depends on what look you prefer on Vader. If you like the beat up armor look from a new hope then with the first hot toys version with the rogue one gloves or the version from the Tarkin set is the way to go. Rogue One Vader is a nice figure for that movie and has the shiny new armor look but a new hope Mask. The Empire Version is a fine representation of that movie also. I don't have the Rogue one or the Vader from the Tarkin set but I have the original Vader with Rogue One gloves and the Empire Vader. I like both a lot but they all have their inaccuracies for sure. The Vader from Jedi is probably a couple years out but like you said will probably have and unmasked headsculpt. Opinions vary greatly on this site what to get. Go for your favorite version.

Ok, so the new ESB Vader that I ordered from Sideshow came and this time.. it's pretty much perfect. Chest box, belt, everything is perfectly aligned straight out of the box.

The only thing that triggers my OCD a bit is that the dome fits the helmet just litely. On the previous Vader (same version), you could hear a tiny screetching sound when putting it on (from friction of plastic parts) and it was secured quite nicely.

On this one the dome fits the helmet without any pressure or sounds and it sits quite lite and loose. The Dome pops out quite easy. Is anything broken or it's supposed to be like that?

Please tell me that it's my OCD and this time there is no defect on the figure...

Thank you.

Pretty much all of the domes pop off easily.

Thanks, but... I'm thinking about 1/6 Return Of The Jedi version... Why they make a 1/4 and no a 1/6 version??? :cuckoo:

Patience... There will be, without a doubt, a HT 1/6 ROTJ Vader.

Why would they announce & start PO's for both a 1/4 scale & 1/6 scale ROTJ Vader so close to each other. I'm sure there is also concern on HT that if they announced and previewed a 1/6 ROTJ version many collectors would forgo the 1/4 since many more collect 1/6 scale.. Plus why would they want 2 of their own 1/6 versions of Vader competing against each other? Many don't even have their ESB Vader yet. Once ESB inventory is sufficiently shipped and sold through we will see a reveal and PO for the ROTJ version.

Which, of course, will be the best version "Evah!!" :chase

Then, I must wait for this one... Thanks.

If a 1/6 RoTJ Vader has 2 headsculpts it has potential to be an improvement. If its one headsculpt with reveal features it wont be an improvement to me unless they pull off Takara level engineering. Not holding my breath, happy with ESB.

The mask on this one looks like it's frowning. Not sure how HT can take such a step backwards in some parts of the sculpt from the previous Vaders

oh... i stand corrected :slap

Did you think that was a pic of a vintage Kenner Vader?:horror

Kenner's been reevaluated a lot over the past twenty years but I didn't think we were THAT far along.:rotfl

I almost want to get this, but it's probably too small

And what's with the double line above the eye lenses ..looks like there's a gap in the eyebrow. Again they come close but manage to screw it up somehow
