I couldn’t be happier with her. I know some were disappointed with the Proto to production transition but I don’t see a problem with this figure at all.

Yeah never saw the issues with her. Saw the figure in person and pulled the trigger I do not regret my decision. She is stunning.

Hoth Leia has a dead eye stare when straight on.
The hs paint app doesn’t match the proto pics but is still good
The right arm may have a defect where it doesn’t stay in socket (sideshow will replace)
The breath mask tanky thing that clips on vest may cause damage to material and wire in seam.
Did I mention the The eyes?

But oh how i love her

I am 100% with you that the expression is a fail. Fisher had such a beautiful range of expressions to choose from... :-(
I am 100% with you that realism/accuracy es very very good.

Just some final questions:

1) In which way would you guys say the final product pics don't match the proto?

2) And do you guys find that the arm problem is just mattinglymint23's unit's problem, or more of a general problem?

3) You talk about a wire. I am not aware there is any. Where is it? What seam do you talk about?

You’d have to find someone making a custom or make one yourself. Not sure if I’ve seen any on the boards but a scroll through the custom section might be the ticket.

I really hope that Rey isn't a Skywalker or related to anyone we've seen so far. From the scene in the cavern, one could theorize that Rey is a genetically engineered clone (kind of like Boba Fett). That would be an interesting direction for them to take. Perhaps someone was trying to engineer clones with high midichlorian levels to make an army of force users.

At this point I am hoping to discover that Rey is a "vergence in the force", an "Anakin" ("Chosen one") 2.0, but this time with no father or mother, but just came to being to fulfill the prophesy Anakin failed to fulfill; and thus becomes a "Skywalker" in terms of tradition though not in biology. This would tie all 6 movies together and make sense of Rey's vision in the cave. And/or this could also be combined with cloning and we could discover that this "miracle" was brought about by cloning Luke from his severed hand. This would actually give her Skywalker biology and also explain why Luke did not know her and her connection with Luke's lightsaber in TFA.
