About blue tape- I'm violinist , but now for about two years I have problems with my left hand.Actually it's from neck zone- some of discs are not really in place and they are pressing on nerves time to time-then my fingers are tingling, if hand is not relaxed hanged down...Now it's just few minutes of playing and I have this terrible feeling...Tapes should help to keep musculs relaxed while playing...
But it's not very effective yet.

Now that's very interesting. Bravo on your craft. Sorry to hear about the difficulty.

Thanks!I really hope I'll find some specialist who will find how to stop it, not just make it ok for awhile...

Putting this here because I spoke about the Toys City Tux and my advocacy for it. And also how Greggo shot it down when I recommended that they took a look at it.

This goes to show how good a 50 dollar suit can look and puts the bar very high for a. Dr. No tux and my expectation. This still has its issues, for example it can't button up but that was more about the design than a flaw.

James Bond

Head- Rocco
Paint - Me
Body - Dam Toys Rick Daryl
Tux - Toys City

That looks fantastic.

On a side note, I got a reply from BCS in regards to my email about returning my Bond. I was told since I was on the list for a replacement head, I could not return it until I received the head. And only then could I return the head and figure at my expense. So hopefully that means the head sculpts will finally be shipping soon.

Sounds kinda rude.

Not heard about replacement head yet, since BCS emailed me a month ago.

So I futzed about with the Toys City suit a bit more.

Is the top back of his head supposed to mimic thinning hair or balding?

Really enjoying your customs Ray! Beyond awesome! Have you ever painted the old sideshow Lazenby head? I know it lacks detail in comparison to modern sculpts but it's still a great likeness.

Wow top job Raymond! Your Dalton is awesome, lovely paint job and you've made that tux look great.

I have just completed a bond film marathon and am currently re-reading the novels and I must say that my appreciation for Tim's turn at Mr Bond has increased tremendously - he is now my joint fav with Connery. I'm looking forward to when Big Chief gets to the Living Daylights and License to Kill wave. Very much hoping for Dalton in Tux, Kara Milovy with Cello and Sanchez (would not mind a Necros figure as well as he was a cool henchman).

Necros was a cool henchman, wonder if bcs could manage his set of headphones. Did HT BTTF marty come with a walkman and headphones?
I love the Moore bonds most, but the harder edge bond brought to the table by Dalton was a refreshing change to the John Glen directed 'campy' early eightys Bonds. However, he redeemed himself on Licence to Kill. Great action sequences and the Tanker chase at the end is up there for memorable stunts and effects

I do not have the Connery, but from photos I am very impressed by Inigos magic, it looks so beautiful.

On the other side, I can do the switch with my BBKill, loving that one also...

Very high expectations for Roger Moore now.

What's the best body to use with the stock Big Chief James Bond suit? A Hot Toys (or knock off) Narrow Shoulder?

Sean

Nothing at all! That’s the issue it only fits the extremely too small shouldered big cheif body. And when I say nothing I mean nothing. I have like every body made and I tried em all. Maybe a luke Skywalker/jack sparrow body or something but your bond will look like a bobble head

Anyone have pics of the BC Dr. NO Connery... I had found them at one point but now can't seem to find the images again... was off a youtube video...

I bunged my damaged extra head on a $30 ebay body and the Toyscity tux with a $5 ebay Walter PPK pistol. Neck is too long but I'm having trouble yanking off the bottom part so I turned the head to make it slightly less obvious. I may commit to neck destruction later. The body is a bit too short for the suit but I guess I could get ankle extenders if I knew how those worked. This is me, with no skill, and with the cheapest possible ebay parts, and bad photos after minimal futzing. I am sure you guys can do better.

My head looks terrible because I tried to fix the little paint rub spot on the nose with citadel paints ... and did an awful job. So I tried again, and failed again. And I tried again ... soon the whole nose was ruined. I tried with those markers that were recommended and no dice. I will have to have another go eventually but I have no skills. It's certainly not like painting model tanks or warhammer dwarves!

And overall I personally far preferred the swarthy paint style on this head ... and the eyes on this are much more lively than on my Sideshow replacement ... ah well.

Also, when I was trying to push the head on, brown from the hair flaked and smeared all over the face. I had repainted the gaps in the hair (that part was easy!), so that could have been me, or could have been Big Chief (I noticed the same marks on a much smaller scale when I unboxed him and fiddled on the first day, and they could mostly be scratched off with a fingernail).

Anyway. I should have just left the nose rub well alone and kept posed the figure in the gloom :p It was a bit of a write-off with the nose rub, but I made it an absolute write-off with my botched attempts at improvement. But here is the Toyscity tux if anyone wants to see it. May my shame and failure be your inspiration to better things.

Cuff those pants inside and give it a quick iron, man. :)

Makes me look forward to Connery in tux. Hope BCS reveals the Dr. No set soon. Probably not until summer though at best.

Wor-gar.. did you see the Dr.No Connery... looks outstanding... definitely a must buy.. I just can't seem to find the images I had located earlier now... but the overcoat on him looks fantastic..
