With the First Doctor coming to tv again st Christmas, unless I misread my DWM, I decided to repose my BC figure.
Well that was one reason. The other: I decided last week, to watch every one of my Doctor Who DVD’s and Blu-ray in order....
I got to The Web Planet today!! It’s a real struggle. To ease the pain, I read through the recent DWM with David Bradley as the First Doctor on the front.
As I was reading. I thought what an opportunity the producers have, to make the continuing (new) adventures of the First Doctor.
Anyways, I’d better actually watch season 10 before the 25th.... I only did ever watch the first episode of that season!!

Big finish actually has a 1st doctor boxset coming out next year staring Bradley. That'll probably be the closest we get to new episodes.
Big finish haven’t got the last 4 Doctor Who figures out that have been paid for two years ago.
Not going hold breath on a Bradley, which would be a waste of a figure release . Next in their design shelf looks to be Pertwee - possibly 2020.

Think there was a minor miscommunication. Big Chief makes the figures. Big Finish makes audio dramas. You said you wanted more first doctor adventures, and we are getting them.
Which two figures went up two years ago?
Yar! I’m curious to hear these. I enjoyed the War Doctor and Time War boxsets ok.

Clara and Rose ordered March and May 2016 : it’s 2018 in 3 weeks.. the figures are slated for delivery now, over two years after their initial preorder date.
One good thing is it’s do long ago that I paid, that these will feel like I’m getting them free!! Haha

I'm really far behind on my BF listening. I have box sets I pre-ordered ages ago I need to get back to. I used to subscribe to the monthlys but mostly do the sets now. I am interested in the Bradley stories for sure. I think it'd be fun if BCS did a 1st Doctor variant with a new face sculpt of him.
Clara got delayed again. Apparently to apologize they're going to include some kind of 11th Doctor art print in the pre-orders. I think they're doing this with a couple of other Doctor Who figures too, but I can't remember which ones.
Sorry, I can't find the original announcement, otherwise I'd quote it. I think it was an e-mail I got from them (I don't see anything on their facebook page or website).
Found the e-mail! I got it from them on 11/15.
Rose, Clara, and The War Doctor have been pushed to Late February to Mid-March 2018. Clara will come with a "The Roar of the Stars" art print. Rose will come with an art print called "Turn of the Universe". The War Doctor will come with four art cards. All of the art is by Alice X. ZHang.
The 8th Doctor is still scheduled for May 2018 release.

It’ll make up for the £20 vouchers becoming redundant before I could use them!!
I had planned to use them on the thunderbirds figures.
I really like the Captain Scarlet art print they sent out , so these should be equally as nice.

Not sure if this was ever mentioned, but if you have your Hartnell holding his lapels watch out because the black dye of his jacket on mine has bled onto his hand.

^ Nice pics, he is a fantastic looking figure - probably my favourite out of the BCS Who line.
You can't beat a bit of classic Who - recently watched some First and Second Doctor episodes from my Doctor Who DVD collection and they are great - which is why I am really, really hoping for a Second Doctor figure at some point!

60s Doctor Who is the best era of the show, in my opinion. The Second Doctor is my favorite Doctor so I'm hoping he's up next after Pertwee.

Hate to burst your bubble, but they'll most likely be doing Whittaker next.
I’m hoping for something from the 80’s... 5, 6, or 7. I would love anyone of them to come after Whittaker.
If Chibnall wanted to bring his bird into the show he should have written her as a companion!! Haha

The first Doctor episodes: I watched them all in order in the lead up to Christmas. There are some excellent shows in there. Of course, that first DALEKS story is just amazing.
The BC figure is a work of art right out of the box. All I did was pinch the hat a little to give it more of a peak.
