They’ve arrived in Utah but Fed Ex won’t even take them to the Fed Ex store because of BCS’ stupid ‘deliver weekday’ instruction:banghead
 
Not interested in the line at all, but these look like they turned out really nice.

Oh man, that sucks. No wonder I had the original 6 day delivery window because it crossed over a weekend.

I do hope you love them too. I'm a Goldfinger fanatic so I'm just so happy to even have a chance at an authentic character representation. But it doesn't blind me to the quality of craftsmanship that is there. Fortunately I know this character well enough to notice the attention to detail here can only come from someone who also truly loves the old world of James Bond. This seems like a huge step forward for BCS. But those of you who have earlier figures can compare better how these new Bond figures stack up against BCS' history.
 
Great....just got my Bond and it has paint rubbed off the tip of the nose as well. I just emailed BCS and sent them pics. They damn well better replace the sculpt. There is no excuse. If they don't, I second the post above about sending it back for a refund and never buying from them again.
 
Please ignore what has been said by some members about replacements. These are not accurate or true. Any nose rubs will be fully replaced. As you have already emailed the support you will receive an email back next week about your replacement. But ALL nose rubs will be replaced.

That's great to hear, Greggo!I really hope my James will not have issues-I'll get him just in Monday, but it's so we'll to know, then all problems will be resolved as it should be :)

I have no doubt I will like them if you are happy, being a much bigger fan than I am. I’ve always been fond of Jaws, personally. In fact it was Sideshow’s Jaws that got me to start buying from them directly. Ended up with most of the Bond line in the end, so I’ll be happy with just about anything improved from them.

Will BCS be making a statement about a replacement program on their FB page or will they keep it hush-hush and let the customer initiate a replacement? Will it be for no direct buyers too?
 
You will still have to go though your retailer. Which then your retailer will contact BCS for replacements. Just how Sideshow have to do with HT or any other company. Hope that helps?
 
This is not a wide spread issue. Everyone who has had the problem has contacted support. Those who have contacted will receive replacements.

Not a widespread issue yet, not everyone has received their figures. There are hundreds still in transit I'd imagine.
 
Glad to hear (and not surprised) that BIG Chief will fix this. Both my Bond and Auric have nose rubs, and I just sent pictures to the support email address. Meanwhile, Odd Job looks way better than the Sideshow one!
 
Just opened mine and no issues. I’ve never bought from Big Chief before and was worried by the lack of updated pictures prior to shipping but my fears were unfounded. Really pleased and looking forward to the next wave. Good job BCS.

Ok, more futzed. Ironed the jacket collar and as much of the shirt collar as I could. There is a stitch holding the top of the collar together which I didn't feel like cutting. I think even more collar than I have here can be achieved if the tie is adjusted down more. I'm liking it more and more as I work with it. The material used for the hands is fantastic and I wish all figures used this.
