Paint job on Bond looks pretty good, but hard to judge much else from those pics. At the moment the head seems a bit big and the neck too short, but that could just be a result of lens distortion and poor futzing.

The Connery suit and the shirt needs a lot of futzing

Not sure if futzing would help but the Connery suit might not look
as good as the prototype

Their paintwork on the sculpts looks like circa 2010. They also struggle mightily with colored shirts. Is this the best they can do?

I hope guy who made pics will offer his review about two rest figures. No possibilitie to judge objective from those blurry pics about paintup.Figures need some futzing, but I don't think suits are different from prototypes.

Well, they don't suck.

Pleased to see they chose a different paint scheme for GF's hair, looks much better than the yellowish shade used in the proto.

Yes, the tailoring and suit cuts look a bit frumpy for all three, especially a bit disturbed the shirt collars were never improved, but I'm hoping futzing will take care of that. All in all, I think I can have a lot of fun with these guys and considering the accessories and packaging and classy bases AND backdrops, this IMO is a pretty cool purchase for me.

Looks like it... but the base suit looks good. Ironing will solve the raised vest and jacket collars.

.

I noticed that as well and it looks better. The proto hair was pretty poor so that's an improvement in production.

My Bond shipped today and is expected to be delivered tomorrow!

That's just insane. Hope you have a camera and its charging up right now. :)

BTW, for those keeping score: my packages have left BIRMINGHAM, WM.

Boys, get your irons out.

BTW, jury is out whether this surpasses the yunsil Connery custom, based on these pics, I would say not.

I will say I'm still very happy with my Yunsil/bbkill/Rahmier painted Connery custom.

Yes, ironing is going to be indispensable on this set. If you can't iron, start learning. Hint: its really easy.

I agree- head is BIG in that pic but I've seen what initial bad pics do to figures...here's hopimg

Yes, we are in the danger zone here, the dreaded first phone pic phase, much like the Bermuda Triangle, many a mission have failed here with dreaded results. I hope Opto gets the GF review up today without the face blistering blinding light in a white box that bounces all kinds of light back onto the figure, I saw specs of dust way too clearly on my big screen. Just joking here, it was a bit too bright to get an in hand comparison in natural light though. Other than that, it was a terrific review.

Not terrible at all but are they good?

Sculpt looks like Connery - but is also too cartoony? Is it too big?

The chest on that body is too muscled it pushes the suit up. Does that need replacing?

Suit - needs futzing badly and looks cheap. Could be great, could be meh.

Stand - stylish. Also unnecessary and expensive.

All of this is subject to someone who knows how to futz properly taking time to do so.

The paint, however isn't - who knew that Connery drew on his stubble with a black crayon and then dipped his head in a bucket of brown varnish?

BUT credit where credits due - IT DOESNT SUCK TOO BADLY YET.

As for Goldfinger this is definitely the best Goldfinger figure of all time.

I have seen enough to keep all three of my orders but
I will say Yunsil is not going to be going out of business
Anytime soon even though her suits are 5-7X more than
your typical 1/6 suit after seeing the new suit.

I think The Yunsil Connery suit will remain the gold standard
for some time.

The review will go up today. I had a problem that i discovered after uploading that the last 6 minutes of the review, were for some reason, cut off. I am in the process now of re-saving the video then i'll upload it.

Yeah even with the best futzing I don't see that suit fitting as nicely or looking as sharp as my Yunsil suit.

But I would really love to pick up that head though if I can find it, since the expression seems much more suitable to Goldfinger than the more serious looking Bbkill sculpt.

You got a great exclusive here. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the early pictures too.

Its safe to say that no mass produced item would ever even come close to touching a yunsil item. Its why there's no way I was pulling off the list for the yunsil Emperor and Bespin Han threads when the HT versions are inevitable. Its just an instant upgrade. So I would only be downgrading something OFF a Yunsil if I needed money and didn't care about the character too much.

I could be wrong but I don't think you guys will be able to find just the new head to upgrade your yunsil Connery suit.
the BB KILL head is still the best out there but it is getting a bit dated. Yea, I agree the BC Connery suit cannot touch the Yunsil
suit
