Welcome to my second contest. Everyone can play within the USA, but if you are a lurker who never contributes just trying to win then you may be omitted.

Prizes: Winner chooses one of the following:

a sealed copy of Sin City A Dame to Kill for on dvd
a ThinkGeek T-Shirt with the mascot monkey dressed as the Borg from Star Trek size 2XL https://www.thinkgeek.com/images/products/additional/large/jlvt_star_trek_borg_cube_tee_dd.jpg
a 40th Anniversary Darth Vader 6" action figure MOC
possibly something else if I can find something that interests the winner more

Now for the contest:

I have mentioned my favorite bands in here numerous times.
One of my all time favorites once did a promo poster for one of their albums spoofing a horror movie poster.
First to post images of both the promo poster the band made for their album (not a concert or event poster), as well as the original horror movie poster it spoofed wins. Have fun!


Contest will run until someone wins, or until I decide no one is going to get it and pull the plug so the prizes can move to a new contest. (tomorrow night probably)

If LaMelnik gets it he can choose a Punk Skull as his prize.

Posting again for anyone that missed it and wants to give it a try. find the band, find the albums, find the poster. I wouldn't search the word parody when looking.

Nothing personal from me. I just bought the Universal Monsters 8 BluRay Pack last year so I figured I'd not clutter up the entries for people who don't have the movies.

Yeah' Local H, gotta be it.

I was searching Local H from the very beginning. Gave up on them, then moved to Foo Fighters. Eventually I moved back to Local H. Still found nothin. I commend Boot for finding that Local H poster cuz I never saw it, and I looked through TONS of their posters...

We'll see. For now, I'm letting it ride... I have more classic horror to give away still. Only Wolf Man and Creature are gone. 3 more Classic Horror movie codes to go... Then I have an EW magazine subscription to give away, and probably more. I'll have multiple contests a day starting tomorrow, since I'm off work...

Out of these bands i knew guns n roses didnt have a cover like that, nor foo fighters, nor seether
