Clearly they have been listening to the feedback to point out the white boxes in the blog. And yet, still no mention of this being plastic and featuring Seam lines... Strange.

That’s part of what bothers me and made me lose respect for them. They see all the outrage over this including the “fully white” box ����* �� and then they think “quick “ we better put that into the description as they (the customers) have noticed! It’s just insulting to do so after the fact after it ships.

Thanks! The light from my display cases really stands out in the pics a lot more than I thought it did when I was looking at them on my phone.

I didn't have long during lunch to look at it, so I'm reserving judgement for a few days. However, I will say that it looks good on a shelf from normal viewing distance. I really don't understand the huge price jump for this though. I'm sure Sideshow didn't want to risk breakage during shipping so they decided plastic was the only way to guarantee the head would arrive safely, but they could have put more effort into this all around.

So it looks cool on the shelfl, isn’t that all we want at the end of the day? The problem is the price! For the price, you expect quality. Not sure why SS chose not to include an art box, but coupled along with the materials used, the paint applications and the seams on the mandibles that people are pointing out, for a $650 dollar bust, the blank art box is just the icing on the cake. It’s just plain lazy and to charge $650 dollars for this isn’t cool. They deserve all the returns coming their way and I hope they sit on their inventory for a while.

Totally on the same page...It does look adequate on self from some distance (m. not km....lol) and will look more than adequate with the other LSB's lined up. P2 lsb was a pure paint disaster but the decent weight n kinda normal price weathered the storm. This piece is highly overpriced for it's quality though. All anger towards SS is completely justified cause it's an insult to our collecting IQ.

Just dropped $700 on a pre-order
