Like, meta-period piece man, set in the 70's, but a futuristic 70's. It'd look kinda like this:

Nothing off the books, wacky villains like Starro and ****, complete sci-fantasy.

Not bad, I'm not too familiar with 70's futuristic art.

Superman the animated series had a sort of futuristic/ 1950's future look to it...very art deco.

Suicide Squad is a fun film, with good performances. Leto deserves another chance that's more than a cameo.

The incest siblings (e.g. Villains) ruined the movie. Stupidest villains and plot to ever grace the silver screen. I agree about the performances at least for deadshot and Harley. The rest of them were just average at best, the actress that played the witch was so bad at acting with all her weird movements and facial expressions tit was almost comedic. The only thing fun about suicide squad are Harley and deadshot scenes the rest is fast forward unwatchable material. Joker didn't bother me though, he wasn't in it enough to affect the film either way and when he was I thought Leto did a decent job

Kidding aside, I actually don't have a problem with anyone's opinions on the film. I just wish the merchandise would go extinct so that I could walk into a comic book store without looking at the goddamn SS stuff. I haven't seen a merchandise overhype so bad since that wretched FNAF game.

The Hollywood Reporter got word that WB is hoping that Scorsese’s involvement will lure none other than Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio to play the lead role of the classic Batman villain. The idea behind the casting is that this new slate of spinoff movies – of which has no connection to the greater DCEU – will feature a greater degree of pedigree and class than larger blockbusters, and having Scorsese and DiCaprio would bring both of those things to the table.* The hope is to create projects akin to Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT trilogy, sticking to a more grounded realm (and could maybe result in more awards-caliber flicks).
