Re: 2016 College Football General Discussion

The most impressive part I heard in game is Watson has his degree after 3 years.

I can't believe how mediocre that Bama freshman QB was aside from the running he had no control of his offense. Worse than Macarrin :rotfl

Saban's kiss of death was truly losing Bo in the game and let's face it the defense go tired. :lecture

Re: 2016 College Football General Discussion

So should the Browns get Watson or not
Whoever they pick it be the wrong one :rotfl.

That said, not a bad idea to look at the kid. Two years in a row the "best team" in college couldn't stop him. We heard all season how mighty and unbeatable Alabama was and their defense wanted to prove something to the kid this year. Not only did he have a spectacular game he beat them

Doesn't it suck that the best prospects in college always go to worst teams in the pros. All the Bama defensive stars who won a championship last year are in crappy teams like Bills and jags which went nowhere.

NFL could use a receiver like Mike Williams.

Re: 2016 College Football General Discussion

That was a good game. Makes up for the snoozers last week.

:exactly:

But I had my feel..good to see change in the national title but now I'm ready to see two different teams in the finals next year..Penn St maybe :rotfl

I'm not big into college football, just a casual observer, and I'm by no means an Alabama fan, but how is that not offensive pass interference on that game winning TD? #3 of Clemson clearly runs into the Alabama defender(s), taking them out and allowing #13 to get open and catch the TD. In the NFL, that would be offensive PI right there. I understand the concept of "pick"/run plays, but #3 didn't even sell it like he was running a route. I just watched the replay on ESPN, so if it was discussed live by the commentators, my apologies.

I was thinking I feel sorry for that Bama defender . His call pretty much ended the game.

I'm so happy for Clemson, they earned that championship.

Nothing Bama did impressed me . Conservative play calling. Take out the running game and Bama had nothing .

The freshman QB of Bama was so green. Never had control of the offense. His highlights were only his running.

Bama's defense were great but they weren't the invincible defense in Bama's glory years. They got tired and had no help from the offense.

Wow what a great game!
Certainly worthy of a National Championship game.
Congrats to the Clemson club and its fans. It was their night!

I'm not taking anything away from the Bama team either. That club is good enough to beat some NFL teams.

They would get destroyed by any NFL team.

Yeah they won't lose much steam this year but will next year. I think Lincoln Riley has 4 years before fired.
