And the LAST.....

I will be pissed if Luke is not around at the end of the trilogy, and I mean alive not force ghost. He was strong enough to cast aside the sins of his father, and become what Anakin always should have. I feel Star Wars is very much about the Skywalker family, to kill him off would be A. utterly predictable and B. bad for the overall narative. Give us something new, don't make him an Obi Wan 2.0

Luke is absolutely going to bite the bullet. If not in this then in the next one.
Which leaves Disney free to continue with a younger cast.

Cool. Johnson is ****ing amazing. Must watch Looper again.

Brick, The Brothers Bloom, Looper...Johnson is the best thing that happened to this renewed franchise. The only thing that bothers me is that he's not directing IX too.

It won't surprise me at all if his contribution to SW proves to be the film that makes the top of my list and finally dethrones ESB.

But people have seemed to miss that J.J. is a producer on this. No chance of this topping ESB, much less any OT movie, with the TFA characters.

Why? The film itself could prove to be the best in the series. Ryan Johnson is an amazing filmmaker. He is fully capable of telling a better told story than any previous SW film before.
