So that means we have to sit around and watch meaningless flunkies for 2 hours before getting to see Vader slap around his 'daughter?'

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

No matter how it ends, they're gonna **** up some continuity where it doesn't match up with ANH. Prolly use the Death Star a couple of times in Rogue One despite Tarkin saying in '77 that Alderaan was the first time they were using a fully operational Death Star.

Not to mention none of the Rebels or Empire look like people from the 70s where everyone's hair (from Luke to Han to Rebel Pilots to Imperial officers) were straight outta the disco era.

I watched it yesterday and they said its not fully operational meaning that it works but not up to it full capacity so they might cause some havoc with it in the mean time, and if according to the spoiler thread x and x happens then for what we say might be true, but trust me I know Officer Motti very well telling Tagge that statement which could make this movie credibility out the window

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

I'm watching tomorrow night at midnight. Disney said only the theater manager and one projectionist get to watch it. I mean it's fine because it's going to be myself and my best friend for 20 years (same as last year for Force Awakens) but it's very frustrating Disney won't allow an employee screening of it before it premieres.

Mostly I am just looking forward to seeing Vader in a new movie. Expectations are low so if it's good I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I've seen it, it's better than:

ANH/ESB/Raiders/ExodusfromEgypt/WhitePeople/Crows/EpiPens/MyWife'sPies/ExxonMobil.

Rogue one: Spoilers confirmed! You are warned do no read these are real

Just came back from the Disney Premier here.

Diego Luna character injures Kreenic, then Kreenic dies in the blast.

Tarkin has a surprisingly large role and his scenes are amazing.

It is really surreal how amazing he looks.

Final Vader scene is the best Vader I have ever seen. He also have robe over armour in that scene. His codpiece is totally not noticeable and doesn't bother me.

Donnie Yen's character totally kicks arse. Too bad there is very little action scenes of him. You pretty much glimpse them all in the trailers and spots.

Lots of reference to SW lore such as Whills, Etc.

Footages of Red leader and Gold leader from ANH splice in or damn good cgi.

Must watch again.

A friend saw it in Dallas and said this is definitely one to see several times at the theater. Will see it Thursday and probably Saturday too.
