Got my Civil War Cap last night. Just quick thoughts.
I was expecting to open the box and see this completely blow away the AOU Cap. It doesnt, if it edges it...its just by a little.
I think most of the big advantage is the pants with better knee pads and the boots. It gives a better impression of Evans physique since he has long legs. The AOU had baggy pants with crappy knee pads.
So if you have AOU cap, might be better to just buy the CW pants and boots.

My big disappointment is the new helmeted head. Not too crazy about it. I think its a step back from AOU cause the likeness is not as good. I'm using my modded AOU helmeted head (added some sheen to the helmet) instead.

Overall, I'm happy with Civil War Cap.

That I'm not sure, since I dont have my AOU anymore.
But gauging from memory, the color looks identical...maybe the CW might be a tad darker.
But I think its pretty close though.

he looks great man! yeah i still like the old sculpt he looks great like that. i popped my sculpts ears out to capture the likeness even more. i wish hot toys would have done the ears out more on the new sculpt.

i have my teeth face cap posed and i love it. i have his head tilted down and i think its more flattering of evans.

great set up! still love that gambit. mine needs an upgrade!

I think people would be happy if they dont have an AOU head to compare it to. But when you have both and put them side by side, the AOU head wins.
Sucks cause I was really looking forward to this new headsculpt.

The angry mouth is definitely the way to go if one needs to use the new head. It does look well on dynamic poses. I do have to give major props to this figure as he is amazing on dynamic action poses.
Unfortunately for me, still end up going for the museum heroic pose so the AOU neutral head for me.

And thanks for the compliment on my good ol' Remy Lebeau. :)

What a BEAST!!!
I think anything I say at this point is just gonna sound cliche.
But bottomline, figure of the year! Heck...maybe decade.

He is incredibly beautiful to see in hand!
I literally had only a few hours sleep, cause anytime I had a chance, I would just stare at this!
He's very close to being perfect. The only shortcoming is the cape, could have been a little better. But even that is just a nitpick.

No mods. Just straight up futzing.

Yes, this figure is absolutely stunning!!!
Hot Toys truly went above and beyond on this figure.
It is absolutely phenomenal. You're gonna love it man!

Got my Tyler yesterday.. :yess:
Incredible figure. I'm still amazed by the tailoring of the outfit, specially the jacket. This is Kato quality good.
The sculpt is great.

The only flaw I can give it is that the hair's paintjob could have used more detail. Also, I can see how some people have done mods on heating up the jaw. But depending on how you position the head, it becomes a non-issue.
I did add a little gloss to the lips which added a nice realism to the figure, since Pitt seemed to constantly have his lips looking glossy in the film.

I have both Rainman's and Iminime, and they dont come close to Blitzway's.
Hat's off to blitzway, The figure is amazing! :clap

Got this monster last Friday.
As much as I want to say he's flat out phenomenal, there's quite a few things to say that hinders me from saying he looks amazing straight out of the box.
For one thing, he is heavily...HEAVILY dependent on lighting. What's weird is that I always preach when talking to fellow collectors
about using LED lights to give it a museum look...and for some reason, this figure actually looks better outside of the detolf with room lighting.

When its outside the detolf and its being hit by lights all over the room, he is breathtaking. As I mentioned before, it should have been called Stealth armored Batman cause I now understand why there are no gold colored parts, it looks amazing all black.

Now, when you place him in the detolf, it is ultra dependent on how the LED lights hits it. When there's too much light, the white paint in between the armor pops out and I'm not too fond of it. I can see now why some pictures have the white paint very visible, and in some, its subdued. It is soo sensitive to light placement.
Too much light and he looks plasticky.
When you place him where the white paint is totally subdued, the figure then is also too dark, so you dont see much of the details. So you really have to move him inch by inch so that the white paint is subdued, yet you can still see a lot of the details.

When you do find just the right lighting, he looks amazing. He is gigantic. he makes all the figures around him look puny.
I like it. Such a different look for Batman compared to all the batman figures I've owned before.
Had a busy weekend so I havent had a chance to mess with him much, so I may play around with the posing later on.

Ung...I only want to keep one. Now comes the hard part of trying to decide which one to keep.
