That's true that people can buy it if they want, and that it's not conspiracy but when you know what it was released for and in one week they charge $300 for it is it justify to say they raised the price just because "everyone wants it" no but then it again your right it's supply and demand. And Wor-Gar is also right whoever didn't buy it should have when it was at its release price. But atm it's not that high of a price.

When it's not released yet, people are skeptical about it, some sitting on the fence, many probably don't know about it until it's being released, as it's being released, people start asking about it's quality, and with enough +ve reactions, it generates interest, people on the fence starts buying them, as more people actually own it, more people start to noticed about the item, and more people getting interested, as the demands goes up, the supply starts depleting, as such the value of the item starts to grow.

Unless the company starts doing reruns or another company releases a more superior & equally priced version, the value will just keep going up.

Just look at AF Dredd, the Black version still demands a high price even though the Blue version is widely available at discounted price.

That's a good point. I think it's mostly due to film accuracy is why everyone rather have the black version. I had the figure and it was great for what it was. When vts releases their version will the AF one be sought after. It probably still be cause it was an amazing figure.

I have the blue version as I couldn't get the black one. I looks great! It's actually not very blue.

They should really replace their product photographer (unless it's the boss guy/gal is doing it himself/herself to save money - in this case...Hire a professional photographer!)

Yeah, AF makes some good figures, but their promo pics are usually pretty bad.

Yes, it's absolutely insane that they can't see it. They probably wanted to emphasize the blue in this case, but the figure isn't that color at all. ...and now that you mention it - the photos of the female version are absolutely horrible and doesn't do the figure justice at all.

Great fig. Love it. Head sculpt stands up to anything HT can do, probably better the a lot of HT sculpts latterly.

Got it with my other badass fig, Dredd.

Yes, TOM is 175 mm tall and Charlize Theron is 177 mm tall.
I could not find a body of a tall lady.

original effect is. Unrealistic Body type. A manga style body.

I am concerned about the height of Ripley of hottoys.
I expect that hottoys will make a tall female body.

So I finaly got Max and he is awesome, still I too think the outfit was a bit shiny so I borrowed some of my wifes makeup and gave him some weathering. Maybe Gonna give him one more time, but I'm pretty happy with him now.

Great job!!! Yes, it's terrible that all female bodies are so petite. I was struggling with the same when I was doing my Alien3 Ripley. I ended up finding the longest body I could and then extending the limps under the clothing, but you couldn't do that here with the exposed arm. Also the Kumik head is a little small too and probably would look weird on a bigger body. I'm mostly concerned about Ripley's height too. If you look at the new Rey she's way too small... sort of indicates that we might get disappointed.
but anyway, Great job on Furiosa!!
