I never had a NES so I can pass... I'll just go downstairs and play my Atari 2600 or my Commodore 64.

I think it'll be readily available in a couple of weeks. I really can't imagine that this will be the "hottest toy" for this Christmas. Sure, a bunch of 30-40-50 somethings ran out today to pick it up (myself included), but I can't imagine today's kiddos saying they want it.

Yeah it was gone within nanoseconds from amazon. Had to be online bots purchasing it. Hope they make more soon as I want to grab that for Christmas.

I still have my Commodore, and all of my games, but it's not hooked up. Lord knows if I can even find the cables for it... But I do have it! I used the monitor for many MANY years. It was my TV growing up, long after I stopped using the Commodore...

I'm shocked they didn't have more readily available for the launch. Most stores only got like 5, from what I've heard. It's gonna be the hot item this holiday season...

I think a working NES in decent shape alone can fetch about 60 now. I know a SNES fetches a pretty penny.

I recently bought an old school tv and vcr for cheap at Goodwill. My new Tv's don't even have rca hookups to plug in a nes or vcr.
