Beautiful piece and I love looking at the pictures...no desire to own it what-so-ever though. Perhaps if Tim Burton had stopped making films a few films ago a piece like this that really rests on how much you appreciate what Tim Burton is all about would be more relevant for me...

Looks interesting, but why make this if it wasn't in a movie? Does HT really see more potential on a figure based on some old unknown sketch, than the Beetlejuice world of characters or Batman related figures? :dunno If this thing doesn't sell well, they'll blame it on Burton's stuff not being popular.

It's cooler than I thought it would be, but there's no way I would pay $400 for it.

$400 for a used condom with a face???
i guess there will be no available aliens&robots from HT anymore.

If this were a series of random Burton movie characters -then awesome!

The reason this is bashed here, I think, is that it's posted on 'Action Figure' side while it's really a statue.
2 different buyer group obviously.

This should be moved to 'General Collectibles -Statues, props, etc.' section where it belongs.

No, the reason why it's being bashed is there are so many more characters from other things that they could be doing instead. Yet they make a figure of something that's never been on the screen before, sounds quite bizzare.

I think it's bashed because instead of putting their time, effort and resources into garbage like this, they could have spent that making Catwoman, Beetlejuice, Penguin, or hell Pee-Wee Herman.

Doesn't make sense, especially with that edition size. It's like why even bother. To promote some Burton event? Why. Hot Toys clearly has a hardon for Burton. How about funneling that love into things people are actually interested and not a random thing based on some obscure drawing from the 80s.
