Man. I'm worried we got nothing next year. I'm wondering if they are actually hurting for money given alll the price hikes and fees. Must've put too much money into court of the dead and other projects. I can't remember them being so closed off

What do you mean by "closed off"?

Though the fact they have stopped the universal monthly codes and the way above inflation price hikes, shipping increases and tons of unsold stock etc might ring true to what you are saying.

Nah....I just think it's gotten so big. Back in the "old" days, people didn't share codes like they do now and their audience is much bigger. Let's face it, even here, there are new people just joining to get codes. It's just getting too big now. We're lucky we get what we get. And I'm not complaining.

Though I'm missing codes left and right.

They used to be all over this site interacting with us and in chat, throwing prizes left and right. They really are closed off in that regard.

Nah....I just think it's gotten so big. Back in the "old" days, people didn't share codes like they do now and their audience is much bigger. Let's face it, even here, there are new people just joining to get codes. It's just getting too big now. We're lucky we get what we get. And I'm not complaining.

Though I'm missing codes left and right.

It really has gotten big but statistically there has been significant decline in allocated promotion funds over past 3 years. We've also noticed a major shift in toy prices during that time too, which has led to a lot less selling out. I'm just wondering if they are struggling to sell stuff and have to be more smart with promotional discounts, RPs, etc.

They used to be all over this site interacting with us and in chat, throwing prizes left and right. They really are closed off in that regard.

It's because people have no sense tact. Anyone associated with SS that posted was constantly riddled with remarks on SS products, service, licenses, ect. All were driven off.

I'm starting to think that it would be a better use of my time getting a part time job at McDonald's, working one hour, then quitting.

It's either that, or lose sleep two nights in a row to get $6.

I never understood why people complain about free stuff. If you don't think what they are giving away is worth it then just ignore the thread, codes and spooktacular altogether.
The more people complain about it the greater chance that they just say screw it and stop it and that t isn't worth their time and effort anymore.

But last year people were setting up scripts and alarm clocks to wake them up for a code. ya rly!
