According to sources that have seen Best Buy's ad for the week of 5/7 to 5/14, the Deadpool steel book will be priced at $24.99. You can only request them to price match the $19.99 if you pre-ordered before it was available at the $19.99 price.

Mine has been on order for a while. So I am hoping they come through.

Yup, 10 out of 10 times it will be available at the store on release day. :lol

Steelbooks not withstanding, there has only been one time a movie I was looking for was sold out at BB on day of release, that was the Aladdin Blu from last year.

As for The TFA steelbook, I was at BB 4 days ago and there were still plenty on the shelves.

Disney overproduced the TFA steels. The Marvel steels always sell out (yes, I know Disney owns Marvel) as do smaller releases like The Hateful Eight. I didn't get the Fury Road steel (wanted the 3D version) but apparently that was a cluster as they oversold preorders and did not have enough to fill stock.

While I'm no Best Buy shill (in fact, before my current steel book craze I would get my movies from Amazon or Target), I've had no issues getting money back if the price dropped.

I was working today and they had a **** ton still. :lol

Got my $10 off via an email. Really easy. Plus I used $5 rewards so I got it for $15 !

Best Buy will always price adjust to release day pricing. You will see them credit you back after the fact.

I always pre-order for pickup. Never had an issue.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised when they price adjusted for me nearly a week after the sale had ended. They never even batted an eye, guess its pretty standard for them, but I never asked to do it before.

Wait, are you talking about the Deadpool steel or another Blu-ray?

Okay, maybe I'm misinterpreting your comment. Did they already refund you $10, or say they will adjust your order to the $19.99 price?

Just curious, because on the Blu-Ray forum site, some people said they already got money back while others said their pre-order will be adjusted. I think if one pre-ordered and paid via PayPal, Best Buy takes the funds immediately, and therefore those individuals got the $10 already.

May the Fourth Be With You Best Buy sales:

The Force Awakens steel book is $19.99 today.

Episodes 1 to 6 steel books are $9.99. Might drop by Target tonight to see if I can get them to price match.

Goddamn Best Buy. Changed their return window/price match window to 15 days unless you're an ELITE member. Gonna email them for a price adjustment anyways. Doesn't hurt to try.

They never price adjust the pre-order. EVER.

The order will charge and then they will refund you the difference.

Happened to me MANY times. Without worry. When I pick up they tell me you will get a refund of..... and boom !

In this case they initiated the $10 refund already :)
