Does anyone think we could have a 1/6 series? It would be amazing (I've been collecting 1/6 for quite awhile I find these figures really worth the investment FYI :))
-Mystique/Raven Jennifer Lawrence
-Magneto/Erik Michael Fassbender
-Professor X/Charles Xavier (bald) James McAvoy
-Apocalypse Oscar Isaccs
-Psylocke Olivia Munn

Re: Hot Toys X-Men: Apocalypse

An X-Men movie where Mystique is leading/giving advice to teenage versions of Scot Summers and Jean Grey. Ughhh.

Re: Hot Toys X-Men: Apocalypse

fat chance of happening, a 1/6 Olivia munn...... sounds so naughtily illegal

do you know how much i wanted first class xavier, he was going to be my first hot toys.

Re: Hot Toys X-Men: Apocalypse

don't think it's going to happen.

Also, please change the thread title by at least adding a question mark at the end. Currently sounds like an announcement thread

Re: Hot Toys X-Men: Apocalypse

Zero Chance. Just read up on what is going on between the X-Men Franchise & Disney.

Re: Hot Toys X-Men: Apocalypse

Well, Deadpool got a figure, and Wolverine always gets a figure. I think theres hope, but I’m not sure its going to happen unfortunately.

This is one movie where I’d probably buy everyone, Professor X, Fassneto, Beast, Cyclops, Apocalypse, Storm, ArchAngel, Psylocke, Nightcrawler Quicksilver etc…

Re: Hot Toys X-Men: Apocalypse

You guys forgot Sophie Turner as Jean Grey. A great head sculpt on her could double as Sansa Stark too. I do wish Apocalypse himself looked cooler though.

I just saw online some non-licensed company made a pretty cool Dark Phoenix figure with two head sculpts (from X2 era it looks like). They make McKellan Magneto and Picard era X as well...

Re: Hot Toys X-Men: Apocalypse

Just add a "?" at the end of the title.

Re: Hot Toys X-Men: Apocalypse

From the looks of things Disney/Marvel is still stepping on the merchandising air hose for this franchise. Not only no HT figures, but not sure if there are any $7.99 action figures, toys, games, apparel, or tie-ins of any descript, although it's not really something I've been looking for so things might be out there. Maybe that will change in the next few weeks as the movie approaches. This is denying Fox hundreds of millions of licensing dollars. I'm figuring the movie might make upwards of $750M worldwide. It looks much better than Fant4stic. So while Fox would certainly like to get the merchandising revenue, if the movie's a blockbuster they'll still be happy. I'd just be happy to see some deal worked out where Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer could either revert back to Marvel or at least be shared like Spiderman. Let Fox keep the X-Men and share the merchandising revenue. As close to a win-win as you'd probably get.

As for figures, HT probably won't be doing them because 1) Marvel wouldn't let them or 2) they are already too spread out on licenses. Not to mention they never produced the XFC figures that were shown a couple of years ago (or Prometheus for that matter). However, I wouldn't be surprised to see some decent looking knockoffs make it to market. It's also possible a smaller company could get the rights.

Maybe you should. There's no difference between deadpool and xmen as far as the complexity. Hot toys aquired the xmen last stand license, the xmen first class license, and the xmen DOFP license. Fox also just aquired new rights from marvel for xmen tv shows. To get those rights they had to give up somthing. There's a new deadpool figure in the way. There are dozens of new xmen figures across multiple companies.

I really do not like the look of apocalypse at all in this movie. I would only get the olivia munn (psylocke?).

I honestly hope this trend continues where Hot Toys doesn't make X-Figures. Other companies are putting out stuff that looks great and costs nearly half as much. I received the new "Phoeonix Girl" by CGL, and it's a beauty. I was on the fence buying it originally, but I'm very satisfied after having it displayed among my customs. It fits right in. I'm hoping Figuremasters Prof. Looks as good as the pics.

Sorry guys I didn't mean for the title to be misleading. I see it's been changed.
I had heard about the First Class Xavier.

I thought it'd be cool to get figures from this movie, but then I realized Wolverine isn't in it so the one figure we'd be guaranteed normally won't be made.

Would love to get a Psylocke, have wanted an Archangel as well, but not sure if I'd buy the movies interpretation of him.

Have you? Why don't you see how many X-Men comic book titles are left in comics compared to when Disney took over.
When was the last time you saw an X-Men Toy line? Ten plus years ago? When was the last time you saw a X-Men Movie Toy Line? X-Men 2?
You say Hot Toys received the rights to Last Stand, First Class and DOFP? Seems like if that was true they lost a ton of money on the License as only ONE Wolverine Figure came out of those Three Movies!
Now they've been allowed to make One Deadpool Movie Figure! Meanwhile the Movie is an Absolute Blockbuster and there is practically No Movie Related Merchandise out there at all!
Dozens of Figures from Multiple Companies? They allow a few mutants here and there and None of it is Movie related!
They even just blocked XM Studios from releasing anymore X-Men characters Even after they were already developed. XM was forced to cancel their Deadpool, Cable and Sentinel Diorama.
So, if you wanna think Disney doesn't have a problem with the X-Men franchise, especially the Movie Franchise then You're the one that clearly need's to read more on it!
I'd Love to see an Apocalypse Line but it's Not gonna happen.
