That world did not feel bigger than any XM movie, it was only Colossus and Negasonic.

Not even cops or the government responded to that highway massacre and that huge destruction at the end.

They were on that highway for what seemed like hours and not even one cop! .

They were like "***** it's Deadpool again, I'm not going"

Cuz it's the best representation of xmen to date. No black costumes and the world feels bigger than just xmen.

Err Colossus had a black costume.

Poor Gambit film, it has a $150 million budget, and it probably won't even come close to Deadpool's boxoffice numbers

I doubt any Solo until Spidey will overtake Deadpool. Hell this movie opened better than most Marvel/DC including Man of Steel, Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine and a bunch of others

And just like Jesus, deadpool will come a second time.

I really don't care about any of the Avengers. But that's just me and how I feel.

Ive never really been an Avenger fan. I was reared on X-Men, Spider-Man & Batman. The main events. I like Cap (in WWII) and Thor and a little Hulk but not fussed about the rest. I've watched some of the movies of the ones in not fussed about though, Iron Man for example and the first Avengers cos of the hype

After reading the working script six years ago I hoped for the best. Trailers had me concerned...
The result is somewhere in between - the main plot is almost indentical but many details were changed and not always for the better.

The list of what I think was better in the old script:

Spoiler:

- The convoy escorts Ajax after his release from prison
- Wade was hired by girl's parents. Wade beats pizza guy, knocks his teeth, then sits with the room owner to watch sports on TV
- After the freeway heist and shootout Pool has a long fight with Ajax
- No Warhead
- Wyre, Garrison Kane and Sluggo instead of just Angel Dust
- During the final torture Wade sees the reflection of his mutilated face and body
- After Wade's escape Ajax is captured by police and finds himself in jail
- Wade tries to commit suicide in many different and very fun ways
- Ajax and mutant mercs take over Hellhouse
- Deadpool vs Wyre at the strip club
- Final act takes place in a huge building with a penthouse
- Colossus fights Sluggo at the entrance
- Lobby shootout "The Matrix" style but bloody and gory
- Deadpool vs Garrison Kane (flamethrower + grenade launcher)
- Penthouse sword fight "Equilibrium" style
- Wade saves Vanessa during the collapse by softening her fall with his body
- Ajax says that Wade's only hope is doctor Killebrew who originally created the process

Because I love Gina Carano and the joke during her fight with Colossus was one of the most hilarious, have nothing against the replacement of Slaggo with Angel Dust. Still, she was the only Ajax's helper and should've had more character.
Warhead was completely pointless to the story, boring and stole the screen time from Colossus.
Ed Skrein is too pretty and uncharismatic for Ajax.
Todd Miller was just ****ing terrible at everything.
The lack of police activity kinda took me out of most action scenes.

The rest is fine.
I laughed at the jokes and really enjoyed Wade's relationship with Vanessa (two wonderful actor, perfectly played).
It's not enough to name this film "GOOD", but also enough not to feel dissapointed after the watc.

It's all about budget. Also didn't help that like 10 million was axed from the budget during production. I think they did quite awesome with what they had available.

Poor X-Men movies, if XMA doesn't beat DP syonara X-Men as their lead franchise.

This little movie is almost at DOFP money yet DOFP cost 200 million more to make!

Believe it or not I wasn't didn't DP do even better than TFA?

I'm not worried about BvS' BO, I usually don't care about BO, but I hope they get decent winnings cause I want to see those Shazam and Flash movies get made, and a MoS sequel.

TFA made 10x its budget

So far DP has made like 15x its budget and counting...

If it was about "da budget" they wouldn't shoot action scenes in a daylight.

But it was about the budget. IIRC they said in an interview that was the reason they cut characters, like Weasel having to play the bartender too.
