Pretty sure you can buy a normal goku and a SWA goku and do a headswap and come out on top having many left compared to buying an sdcc 2011 goku 99 out of 100 times. Apart from the fact that you have two figures instead of one.

Seriously folks, it works, normal head goku on swa body is awsome and a real pre-ssj dbz vibe and swa goku head on normal goky body (or hell, even U gohan's) works great too.

Trying to get 2011 SDCC Goku to complete the set

This is a perfectly good substitute for SDCC. Just missing the purple parts and the slightly darker gi but it works very nicely. I love how there's so many parallels between the SWA Goku and the SDCC (same shade of orange, similar shading).

It's madness over there, I'm just sitting back and enjoying the show now lol.

That's what I did. It saved me $400+. I have no problem with the arm band and belt not being purple. I can get those done at some point if I wanted to. I'm just glad I don't have to use the Manga Goku head/face for most anime inspired displays.

Speaking about the Pre-Super Saiyan Goku, the more I look at Super Warrior Awakening Goku's body sculpt, Tamashii is really not that far off from a Kaioken Goku to go up against Scouter Vegeta.

There's literally almost no difference between those two...besides giving a red tint, and lack of any remaining shirt. Seeing the red tint would be an interesting concept to see in practice.

I just looked at Tamashii's Figuart Zero Kamehameha Goku and it has no battle damage to the pants. I think it would be great if they created "Goku 2.0" legs for the figure. Basically the same pants mold but with Super Saiyan 4 Goku knee joints. Maybe even sculpted knees similar to Broly's knees but still keeping the ball joint. Then, as you mentioned, getting rid of the shirt. You have the figure right there.

I'm actually against the red tint. I could see that becoming a major QC issue. They can just come out with a Red Aura effect and I think it would be a great accessory and give us the feel of Kaioken.

It's really not that far-fetched for Tamashii to achieve this with simple retooling and another Goku release. I think one of the biggest accomplishments from this figure would be accompanying Scouter Vegeta.

I'm looking forward to Nappa but it took Broly's sales to convince Tamashii to put larger characters back on the table again. They're more than likely updating the prototype but I don't think we're anywhere near Nappa's reveal and release. (Hopefully I'm wrong.)

Even though I don't like the idea of them anymore, they could give the figure a reddish tint for an SDCC Exclusive. Or, which would be the better option, a Premium Color version with the reddish tint. Either way, I honestly don't see Tamashii releasing the mold initially with the reddish tint.

I've been thinking about ordering another one but I think I have too many already. It'd be interesting to see if there's any differences.

For those that took off the SWA Goku belt and put on a Normal Goku/Super Saiyan Goku belt, how did you do it?

That would perfect if they didn't attempt to add that shading in. Didn't really turn out so well but the rest of the figure is damn near official looking. Hoping we see an SSJ4 Vegeta shortly after Goku followed by Gogeta

I've been following his progress with that custom on IG.
Are you referring to the pants, prodigy? That is the one thing I couldn't decide if I liked or not. I think he should have just went with a very dark, glossy blue for the pants.

Hmm, unfortunately it isnt correct. Gohan was a 2015 release, as was ssgss goku and Frieza.
