R2D2 being made of plastic made this set a big rip off. Since Sideshow has jacked the price of a PF up at least $100 a pop since this came out I'm expecting this to be $200 dearer than the original set.

Does sideshow not care about "Limited" anymore? Doesn't really seem like it in the recent weeks with all these rereleases. They should have just made it a TFA version with the red arm for 3po... This is so stupid.

It's probably gonna be close to that eBay price because they see what people are willing to pay. I guarantee it's the same plastic R2.

They are weathered. You can see the oil stains on 3PO's chest.

Well yeah... Everybody should have seen this coming with the new movies coming out.. And they will be rereleased again when the next film after that comes out

R2 siting on my shelf does not look plastic... Both he and 3PO look great. Look like the characters jumped out of the film and sat on my shelf

It was an open edition.. It was actually somewhat of a surprise when they stopped selling them... I think SS knew that people wanted to be able to get the droids separate... This solves that issue... Those that that have the original reg are in lock because they have the combined base... I assume these will have the separate bases thus making it harder to display together if people want both because the missed out.

I think it will be much cheaper then the ebay prices... 429.00 - 450.00 for 3PO.... 350.00 for R2 is my guess... But it's just a guess.

Limited is an open edition, meaning they can sell millions of them, forever. Not dumb, everyone knew this was coming.

True but the fact is sideshow charged $375 bucks for that plastic R2D2 while Hasbro make a great nearly half scale R2D2 with more lights, sounds, movement, voice recognition and princess leia projection for $150...

This was all I needed to cancel my WL conversion for the Fett and put my Star Wars PFs on eBay. I was on the fence about the line anyway...Too many boxes so its 1:6 for me for now.

No TFA but a re-release of the droids. What the heck is going on at SS? Are they just throwing PF collectors a bone with this because their TFA stuff is so far behind schedule or was this always the plan???? WTF???
