The Gen X Core body is so cool, I wish Takara would sell them individually or at the very least utilize it more for their figures. The only figures I know of that uses the GxC body are the BB figure and the Jin Roh soldier.

I'm not too sure the gen x core body is incapable of achieving that pose.

I think it's just the suit that's hindering the articulation need to pull off that sort of crouched pose.

I love all the great pictures on this thread. There are some really good photographers here.

I think most of the definitive Takara Batman pix have already been done, but I thought maybe a slightly different take might be interesting.

put a wire in the cape of mine and it really makes the fig so much better:

i'm gonna be sending it to a friend to get a full wire armature under there for even better poseability. been trying to hunt down an HT Batman to swap the boots out, but since he's so rare/expensive now, the Medicom figure will have to do. after that i'll have the perfect BB in my eyes.

that is the one thing this figure was missing.. im green with envy!

I've been able to get this kneeling and crouching pose out of my figure:

As you can see the body is very flexible, and the poses will hold due to the tight joints.

This is about as poseable I've found the legs able to go on Tak Bats, and only one leg, for the rubber's sake, you're best to keep the other leg extended normal. It's a shame you can't achieve poses like the crouch he does so much in the movie, but oh well. Really, even without the rubber, Sideshow's Buck body is the only one I've found that can really get into that balled up of a crouch, but the flip side is that it leaves an unsightly hip joint. The sacrifices you make when you recreate the human body in solid mass like plastic instead of flesh and blood and all that can squish and move and things to accommodate positions.

Looks too big to the be the Takara batarangs.

I had both.. they're the same.. and that batanarang looks like a repaint of the batnarang that came with the 5" figure from mattel.

To get the Takara Batman in that crouching pose, I had to ensure the rubber suit material did not bunch up in the hip's ball joint, and behind the knees as well.

I couldn't get the torso to flex any more at the hip...the belt gets in the way

Is there any difference in the sheen of the Batsuits? My suit is flat black, almost grey in certain light conditions, while in some of the photos posted here...alot of the reissued Batman figures have a shinier, almost semigloss batsuit.

here are the pics I said I would post up , medicom spiderman arrived and I love him , fits in well with them , will get a pic of them all together.
