Dunno that sculpted cape is pretty darn regal too. Like he's torn from the comics.

I love both... I got the fabric for alternate display and if I ever want Superman and Bats a little closer together. Makes it much easier...

What I can't get over is how much lighter he is.

Would like to know how to get this fabric cape. I agree, the sculpt is great but depending on display options the fabric cape would be incredibly useful

The fabric capes do look cool, and I could see getting one for Superman. However the sculpted cape just kicks ass, but then again I am all aout the sculpts with these.

Ok the first pic is a bit more neat.. The second I gave it some more texture.. Which do you like better? I like the texture.

Damn that cape looks nice.... hmh I like the one that has more folds over the shoulders, but tbh both look better than the sculpted.

Not saying the sculpted one is bad though, but it doesn't look real to me, and with the fabric one, it looks like Superman in the flesh is standing right there.

If it's not too much trouble, could you take a pic where the cape is draping a little more behind the shoulders and not so much over them? Just to see how it looks.

I'll always prefer a sculpted cape if for no other reason than I'd rather make a custom fabric cape instead of a custom sculpted cape. Stick with the sculpts, SS. You've done a marvelous job with them.

Jelly? ;)

That I agree with, the sculpted cape is pretty and it's far more valuable than a fabric cape for sure, and you can always make your own fabric cape easily anyway.

Like I have been saying. I love the sculpted cape... I had to desire for a cloth cape. But then I saw the pics and the price was good so I thought.. Why not? It does give the statue a look of elegance. I figure in another year I will go with the sculpted again and fall in love with that all over.

Is this normal?

I could be wrong.. But I think you might have to futz with it some more and get into place... I just switched to the cloth cape and boxed up the sculpted.. Otherwise I would go look and tell you... But I don't think it's supposed to be that far up.

Here is a quick update based on some input I got.

you need to make the side elevation image to be more horizontal, look straight out, and not like he's looking down. by doing so, you should do better sculpting. once you are totally done then you can have it back. his lips need to stick out. more space is needed for the top of his lip and the bottom of his nose. you need to remove some flesh at the very bottom of his nose. superman got a somewhat pointed, eagle nose. one way of looking at it is by silhouette/contour. Mr. Green think his chin should be push back some first before you try on his lips.
