Re: Spooktacular 2014

I have another idea for a contest that I'll try to do sometime this week if I can get the prizes together.

View attachment 141849

Behind each card above will be a random prize (1 Grand Prize, 2nd, 3, 4, and 5th)

Sometime next week I'll post for people to start PM'ing me if they want to participate. I'll have a cutoff time set for the PM's.

Afterwards, I'll draw 5 random names from a hat. Those five will have a shot at the prizes.

I'll randomize it to decide the picking order.

I like it because even if you pick first you could end up with the lowest value prize (which will be a repped post lol)

What do you guys think?

That's a contest I can do... speed typing and quick brains not required. :)

Re: Spooktacular 2014

Thanks everyone for the updates! Let me know if the front page is missing something or I entered it wrong. You guys are putting out some great contests. According to the data I have, GeneralZodLives is a big winner so far.

Re: Spooktacular 2014

Kinetic: Neat contest, though you picked the wrong winner. The "Elm Street" movies where "A Nightmare on Elm Street". All started with the A, not with Nightmare :wink1:

I didn't realize that until I just read this. :slap If it's any consolation, the prize is going towards another contest prize.

Boba Ben's Creative Writing Contest

Okay. I'm holding a contest. I'll leave it open over the weekend so everybody should hopefully be able to participate if they want to. The winner will get a 12" vinyl Godzilla 1989 figure by X-Plus from my personal collection.

I love short horror stories, but I don't have a ton of time right now. That's where you come in. Quote this post and respond with your best one to two sentence short horror story. The one that I find the creepiest and most bone chilling wins. One entry per person, please.

Here's an article you can read for inspiration:
21 Chilling Two-Sentence Horror Stories to Creep You Out - Dread Central

Here's a blurry photo I took of the figure.

Even though I have see 3-4 all ready that are better than anything I can come up with I'll give it a shot anyway... what the hell.

I woke up sweaty and weak from a nightmare I though was all too real... but it couldn't have been... could it? I got to my computer and realized I missed 30 pages in the Spooktacular thread over night.... AHHHHH.... IT WAS REAL.
