At $400 bucks a pop, we'll see how long it takes to sell out. Especially with as many buying options as there are right now with the '89 Premium Format, life size bust, Hot Toys, etc.

The black bust is sold out, the blue bust is close, and the HTs have mostly sold out except for the armouries....

Yeah, then you would have no idea how valuable your statues are. You would never know how many are out there.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I think this looks far better than GH. Less goofy or something, idk, probably because of the outfit. That being said, I also like how you can see more of the armor on this one.

I'm with you in the minority. Haha. I think this looks better simply because it's more visible. I love that metal arm. If G Hulk could switch out the shield for the axe... Good lord I wouldn't be able to resist.

If he thinks sideshow is in trouble for overhead storage he clearly purchased those MBA's... Warehouse storage is literally at some of the lowest prices it's been at over the past 20 years in California. Probably why production has gone up.

Yeah. I agree with you 100%. My perfect combination of this. King gauntlets, g hulk body/loin cloth, king head (with no head band), g hulk helmet on ground, no shield, but a fist or the axe in left hand instead.

Dear everyone who thinks that this was a simple "repaint" is...

- New head w/ tiara - sculpt and paint
- New left arm, shoulder pad, and hand with axe, not just the hand - all sculpt and paint
- New left hand armor - sculpt and paint
- TOTALLY NEW loin cloth - cut & sew
- Re-worked base - sculpt and paint

So, "simple" no. The difference in his armor (left and right hands and left arm and shoulder pad) and the lion cloth (for those of you guys that actually know the difference between Gladiator and King from Planet Hulk and WWH) that's why we couldnt JUST do a swap out arm and head.

Sure, we coudlve done a new head expression. Passed the point of no return with that a while ago, and this is where we're at.

I love this and g hulk, both look great, but the g hulk is so covered, you can barely tell it's a hulk. If people see it and don't know about planet hulk... They'll think its a roman with gonorrhea or something...

That is my only complaint with SSC on all of this. It would have been nice for them to give an EX for the original with a switch out hand or something...

Having said that I personally think the GH looks far better then the KH... I just prefer the look of it. Even though the shield hides some of the sculpt I don't consider it that much of a loss because the arm is covered in armor anyways. GH looks more natural. KH looks like an afterthought.... Which is funny because I am not sure that it was... Judging by the art KH was first.

Anyways It's a win either way. Would have preferred to have switch out parts with my GH but I would not have switched out much anyways. And for those who wanted and love the look of KH well they should be happy also.

Well the differences were apparently to great, but it was suppose to be one statue. From Igo over at SF

We originally intended it to be BOTH in one offering ie - swap out arm and head.

Then we looked at the reference, more than JUST that stuff changes, like the lion cloth is TOTALLY different, the base didnt make sense (Gladiator Hulk has the alien gladiator arena decor, the new King Hulk was modified to look like NYC) etc, so we ultimately decided to separate the two.

Igo makes great points.... You can't just switch them out and have an "official" KH.... Would have still like the AX though... It's not like he had that in WWH. Would have been more comic accurate with nothing in his hand.


Oh and I did not notice the base was more "earth Like" So I guess this is WWH!!!!!! Now I have to get it!!!
