Yes I agree with your point, but they are producing everything under sun right now. They are going to stretch themselves to thin and the business will suffer. It seems like all collectible companies fall into this trap. Just look at the trading card industry. You can see it just by looking at how long ex are remaining in stock. Gladiator hulk, cat woman, green hulk, all ex the two years ago would have sold out in a month or two. Gladiator will probably still be for sale next year at this time.

I have been collecting since 2007. I just don't want to see the hobby get diminished.

Whoa tiger, don't get ahead of yourself.

I don't collect Statues for Monetary gain. I collect them because I like the art and Subject matter. So what they do after I've bought my statue means little to nothing to me as long as I get a Statue that looks good for the money I pay.

Generally, I do too. But if a LIMITED NUMBERED statue rises in value, well, great! I don't intend to sell, but a few years from now, who knows? Stuff happens, & if/when it does, it would be great if statues kept their higher values, & not have their values diminished by the very company that issued them in the first place!

It's more cause prices are too much rather than too high of edition size I think

EXACTLY...... But SS wasn't born yesterday, they have I'm sure looked at business model after business model and found a sweet spot based on demand and collectability (ES).

Anyone who is surprised by this hasn't been paying attention. Honestly, so many of us called this the moment the GHulk went up.

Catwoman should be priced at $249.99 as the Mystique PF was (under rated piece). If not that then between $250-$300 with that price the 2,000 EX's of Catwoman would be gone by now I think

It doesn't matter how long they're staying in stock. They're still selling out. Especially with everything being TBD ES, SS gauges the amount of interest based off preorders and then sets an ES. The length of time has no relation to your belief of them stretching themselves too thin.

Yeah, I wonder how long Sideshow can keep all these statues with huge edition sizes in their warehouse? They've tightened the screws on the AD's for the number of regular editions they can get and the maximum discount they can offer, so the only way to get them now is through Sideshow direct. I wonder how many of those 7,500 regular Batman PF's they've sold so far. Certainly a lot, but they may have to hold onto them for years to sell through especially when they keep turning out more and more product with higher edition sizes all the time. I love their stuff, but I have to wonder if they aren't going to get into some trouble going down this path.

I love this and g hulk, both look great, but the g hulk is so covered, you can barely tell it's a hulk. If people see it and don't know about planet hulk... They'll think its a roman with gonorrhea or something...

I have found quite a few. Colossus, cobra commander, thing PF,etc. I think we are still a year or two away from really seeing a dramatic impact on after market. All this is just my opinion.

That's nothing for Batman

Of course it did but on the topic of why things are taking longer to sell out it's because they cost too much not cause the edition size is too big

It's the first friggin' day of comic con releases, some of you whining fools need to relax their are 30 more days to go with plenty of new reveals.
